Gameplayer.au are the same hacks who wrote that joke of an article stating that "There may be pedophiles in home!!"
And there may be murderers in your local supermarket's frozen food section..rabid sensationalists.
Its rarely news with these guys...its just another opinion piece with a provocative title to reel in the hits. N4g seems to be a breeding ground for victims of these sites.
Looks fantastic...looking at it reminds me how much I wish Konami would take the Castlevania franchise and create a HD 2D game for the PSN and XBL. Fingers crossed that is what they have in mind for their next iteration because I couldn't bare to see another mediocre 3D dungeon crawler with the Castlevania name tagged on.
As for Trine...even its theme tune warrants a purchase.
@Irish-Cliche
Yes they have given us the Farcry space but not the Uncharted one. By the way, you're not texting on a mobile in here so why not try write a full word instead of phonetic abbreviations..its good for the head. "Rite" and "right" do only have one letter in the difference after all. :-)
Thegamereviews.com put that conical hat on your head and go sit in the corner with hip-hop gamer, gameplayer.au and all those other idiots.
Amazon are only offering Reaper costumes for Home..Gamestop has the better deal this time.
One of the best previews I've read so far, really enjoyed the details on how the combat and climbing feel. Can't wait for this one.
A guy who writes an article about a Blu-Ray free PS3 tells someone in the comments section to "get their facts straight". Classic.
Absolutely disgusted that this game is being made while foreign forces are still on the ground in Iraq. I'm not a particularly sensitive or overtly politically correct person but I think this is pretty pathetic. Am I correct in assuming that we get to play as a Marine hero's against the evil "insurgents"?!
Well coming from a Japanese developer I'm not surprised at all, cultural sensitivity has never been much of a strong point for them..as long as its not the American ...
Ps3centre.net...what is the story with you guys getting week old information approved on this site?! First inFamous and now this video?!
Bit slow off the mark.
@Blackprince...no it states June 09 as in 2009 not June 9th. Nothing new here at all.
The super cheap 360 hasn't managed to do it, I really don't see the PS2 having impact on Wii sales, none whatsoever.
I guarantee you that there is a lot more to see of this game than what has been showcased. At least 6 powers have not been shown and who knows how many enemy types. It was stated in an interview that the we have only seen 1/3 into the game and that the overall playtime is 20 hours, not including the 100 side missions and collective aspects.
I really couldn't care less if this game got 75/80 scores across the board, it looks like great fun and is the perfect antidote to the AAA s...
Playing as that little girl in Siren Blood Curse was easily the scariest gaming I have experienced ever, particularly the hospital level. Utterly defenseless, hiding in a toilet and looking through the eyes of your would be killer as he gibbers on about you all being together as one happy family, survival horror in its truest form.
Sight jacking was a genius game mechanic, sickeningly disorientating and panic inducing.
20 hours without attempting any of the side missions..nice.
This is my sole reason for hanging around N4G these days, I may be wrong about this one, but I've been ridiculously hyped up since the first trailer for this one. It may sound ridiculous but Killzone 2 is merely a beautiful (and highly entertaining) stop off point for me on the way to inFamous.
Hate to be nit picking but why do so many Irish people write on the internet as if they were text messaging on a phone?! Ok, I know it's a disease that is not just exclusive to the Irish, other English speaking nations have their representatives too. I foresee a generation with shockingly dire literacy skills.
C'mon kids its not as if your restricted by space here and its not going to cost you money to type up a second post.
@ Weymes
I agree with the reaper lad, you always defend your position with composure and that is a refreshing trait around here. Thanks for that synopsis on the game, it's more detailed than any article I've managed to find about Demons Souls so far and I can see what you mean about it not being for everyone.
As was stated there is no singular European chart so I think its only fair we get to see what's happening in Europe. I'm Irish and I'm interested to see how a game like Killzone is selling there for two reasons A) There was a pretty big advertising campaign and B) Its nice to play against your fellow country men sometimes.
As for the African charts being posted? What's so ludicrous about that?
I'm sure it will be of interest to someone.
@Hey Hey...
What's getting ridiculous?
I think some hype was generated by the "powers" slow motion video but prior to that, if this sites users are to be taken as a gauge of sorts, very few people seemed to care. I've seen countless inFamous related articles getting pretty much ignored on N4G.
Perhaps the problem lies in the fact that fanboys would rather shout about titles that are in direct competition with similar titles on the other system or games that are so technically blinding that they can use them...
