So few comments here for a very revealing article about further developments in this title, its sounding really great. I'm amazed out how minimal the attention is for this exclusive.
C'mon you can all get off the Killzone hype train now..the stellar reviews are in and now there is nothing left to do but wait.
Whats with the constant Force Unleashed comparisons? Shaved head...yep. Electrical powers ..yep
That's were the similarities end.
Some of the most on point reviews of Resistance 2 scored the game with an 8 and although I love that game I think 8 was a very accurate score...few games deserve the 9+ scoring they receive.
Uber sheize!
I think we can expect to see a lot more reviews of this ilk, from what I've read so far its seems Killzone 2 does everything perfectly but nothing really new which will disappoint some critics.
The hype was bound to cause damage and you will have always some people that demand innovation but I'm more than happy just to play a solid title with so few flaws.
"The poll question was SLIGHTLY loaded"???
You may as well have asked people "What kind of fanboy are you?"
A) Ps3
B) Xbox 360
C) Wii
bit of a waste of time but I'm sure the fanatics will click away.
I have "time like a stairs"..I thought everybody did maybe they just lost theirs looking for "a shooter in their country frog"
Online translations..more fun than Engrish!
How can anyone really attack a review of a game they haven't played, for all you know you may find yourself agreeing with some of the issues raised. Its a day one purchase for most of us regardless of reviews. Shame though, as Empire is a highly respected publication, although more so for their movie reviews.
I think this is a bad move on Sony's part, there is enough of us fans mouthing off on the internet about the wonders of the PS3.
TV and high street advertising is where they should be spending their money. They still haven't managed to produce even one PS3 TV commercial that highlights all of the machines capabilities.
Killzone 2 will make a little impact in Japan...the Yakuza bundle on the other hand should sell quite a few.
I'd say those predictions could be spot on!
Poor literary skills on your part buddy, but point taken.
Intelligence clearly is not your strong point, you can spin it whatever way you like but it is you who has come off looking quite the idiot.
If you wanted to make the point that ALL reviews are redundant well you simply should have stated that, but if you actually meant that reviews from outside the US are redundant then you are the bigot and a far more pathetic one than any console fanboy. By that logic all non US posters on N4G are not entitled to a valid opinion, because we ar...
"Especially Hungary"?! Care to elaborate? I doubt you have ever been there and/or know nothing about the place. Do you really think pop culture in Hungary is so vastly different than the rest of Europe...scrap that question..do you even think before you open your ignorant mouth?
`He said "Ludicrous Buffoon" ...does he mean the type that "inhabit this earth". This pompous clown's writing used to anger me, now I'm starting to find it hilariously entertaining!
It makes great sense for these small fry sites to weigh in with early reviews of reviews since nobody will give a sheeite what they have to say once the media giants present their opinions. Hit-tastic.
Love the socialist realism style of artwork for that theme, possibly the best PS3 theme so far.
Its got a clock! It displays the actual time! So does the one on my living room wall!
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Despite the title the writers main point is that Sony needs to up their marketing campaign, not exactly a shocking revelation to any of us but the article isn't entirely anti-ps3. My biggest gripe is how the majority of these articles NEVER take the rest of the world into account, as if everything depends on those NPD numbers.
Given the euro - sterling exchange rate this should go for about 320 euros in other European territories. But most likely those thieving scumbags will still charge us 400 euros and expect us to be happy. Consumers here in Ireland can drive up to Northern Ireland (UK) and buy the PS3 for about 70 euro less than what we are charged at home. Ridiculous. Sony really do test our loyalty here in the EU.
The guy states don't get too excited.."it won't blow your heads off" and what do people do??
They just set their sights low and hope for a team ICO announcement?!
Prepare to be sorely disappointed, there will be no downplaying the day ICO decide to showcase.
