Do yourself a favor and don't watch the video review summary..not just for the reason it's painfully dull, but because it contains quite a few spoilers.
The other games beauty was certainly in the art style and atmosphere. But SOTC was a pretty spectacular PS2 game from a technical point of view also.

I'm buying the game myself, regardless, but reviews certainly have their uses and I think its good that people have an opportunity to know about the pro's and con's of a product before parting with their cash. I don't agree with some of the points this guy raised, he seems to have totally missed the point of the graphic novel 2D cut scenes, I do agree that the in game engine cut scenes have horrific animations though.

Judging from their reactions it appears not one of them listened to the podcast. I got shot down for stating the obvious, that the reviewer was of course playing the finished product, but they all assume "no no he's a nobody..he couldn't possibly be reviewing the finished product."
Its seem healthy criticism just isn't the done thing around here.
Jesus the Sony fanatics in here are becoming an absolute joke. A couple of demo players and IGN have mentioned some problems with Cole getting stuck in objects/background..but they have all said its no biggie and certainly not a game breaker.
No they are referring to the full game.
I hope this is nonsense but I do recall Brian Fleming in an interview at GDC talking about how Sony hadn't forced them into any deadline and that they hopefully would have more time to complete the game. A week later the release date was brought forward and the game rapidly went gold.

Thanks but I'd rather not, I've seen every video that Sony has published for this title on less trashy sites.
As much as I'm lapping up all positive attention this game is garnering I must not succumb and give these tools at gameplayer.au a hit. Let me know if they have written a responsible piece of journalism for once..I highly doubt it.
so thats 87...90 and 83 so far. All respectable scores so far, although its starting to look like this games lack of technical muscle is going to cost it a few points. Ah well 1st day purchase for me regardless.
