Almost every bus shelter in Dublin features a Killzone 2 poster, this is one of the biggest advertising campaigns for a game I have ever seen in Ireland. Sony really got the finger out for this title.
Super Castlevania 4 and Symphony of the Night are easily the finest.
No "Wicked Child" in that list?! Amateurs.
During the height of PS2 saturation Ireland had the highest amount of Sony consoles per capita outside of Japan. But I think the super cheap 360 has stole its thunder this time.
Just noticed the Killzone posters popping up on the bus shelters around Dublin today, looks like Sony is actually putting a bit of effort into their marketing of this one after all.
I haven't had the time or the inclination to compare textures in the two games, I had to borrow a friends 360 to play Gears 2 and I loved it. But for my personal taste Killzone 2 is a far superior looking game, each to their own and all that shtick but the character design in Gears is absolutely horrible.

Good reply and plenty of valid points. But you never know, you may feel different having played through it yourself. I would be inclined to agree with you based on impressions but I'll hold out on my judgment until I've played it.
@Adropacrich2
Care to elaborate? That little pearl of wisdom has really piqued my interest.
@gface64
That's a whole lot of opinion you have there, considering you haven't even played the game yet?!
"Least the way I see it"...I think you mean "Least the way some critics have convinced me to see it"
@thereapersson
Thanks for that !!! I really wish I hadn't gone in there.....shudder.
"The sad thing about desperation is it can hide the truth and it's victims will never know but alas i am here to expose the truth once and for all."
What a pompous git...the game looks absolutely stunning to us poor blinkered Sony fanboys and just about anyone else who lays their eyes on it. "But alas" we are nothing but luddite sheeple whose very eyes are being lied to! Behold our savior!

That's great news, never played Splinter Cell but The Foley Room is a superb album..excellent composer & Ninja Tunes finest.
Great news, box art is pretty poor though. This game already has its own graphic novel art style in place of cut scenes and its far superior to this, strange that they didn't use it for the cover.
This is the exclusive I have been waiting more excitedly than any other. It really nails the graphic novel style and as a fan of comic books that means a lot to me. Prototype looks like great fun but it just seems to lack soul in its visual presentation.
I think there is room for both games in the market after all one is essentially a third person shooter with heavily incorporated climbing mechanics while the other is more of a brawler. Running up the side of buildings looks gre...
"WOW JUST WOW!"
"KILLZOWNED"
"PS3 FTW"
"AWESOME!!!"
etc..etc.
Now agree rabidly with each other, in a fanboy circle jerk.
VGCharts is kept alive by tools believing and actually caring in these pie in the sky figures..give yourselves a big pat on the back.
Throw him to the lions.

Thanks..I didn't know it had in-game music support.
I just saw the trailer for LP2...my my it looks beautiful. Is this a timed 360 exclusive? Please say it isn't so.
"As far as first-person shooters go"...I must have played an entirely different game.
"Their Home. Your Hell"
...you know as a drugged up drunken Irish teenager living in Amsterdam back in the 90's I often felt that way on a Saturday night, falling about the place as the Dutch went about their business.
Great saying, "If the Dutch had Ireland they could feed the world, and if the Irish had Holland they would all have drowned."
Now that's a comment drenched in wisdom!
"Cretin..
