Piss taking aside, I do agree that there is little chance of a new IP like MAG surpassing Halo in popularity. MAG looks great but it seems to lack character and identity.

The same site that awarded inFAMOUS a 7/10 goes against the critical grain yet again. I totally understand the concept of personal opinion and taste but I find that certain UK sites seem to be increasingly 'alternative' in their critical consensus. All well and good but its sad that the big sites like IGN have become more reliable sources for me personally than the indie ones. I find their tastes generally off kilter, pompously self assured and sometimes a tad pretentious..but that just my op...

I'm merely stating that despite Halo's undeniable fame it's hardly a more "legendary" franchise than Mario. You cannot argue with that end of. As for me being bitter about sales...check my comment history if you like, I care nothing for sales or the console war.

I can't believe I've blown hundreds of hours the past couple of years playing an imaginary Tekken online, it seems all that experimentation with mind altering substances in my early teens has finally caught up with me.
I have a couple of friends I game share with on a regular basis, am I cheating the developers? Perhaps. Is it really that damaging to Sony? I don't think so. I regularly buy PSN games that I wouldn't take the risk of purchasing or have limited interest in due to the fact that I will share that game with friends and in turn they will buy some titles I haven't.
At the end of the day, all three of us spend a lot more money on PSN titles due to the perceived added value.
