As much as American-football is popular in the States, European-football is way more popular worldwide. You don't have to accept that, but it's a fact. And Cricket being the 2nd most popular is no surprise, really. Have you been to South-Asia or Australia? It's almost as if Cricket is accepted as a kind of religion there. Most of their superstar athletes are Cricketers.

As much as i'd like to see game-movie adaptations do well, i just can't picture a GoW movie breaking box ofice records. The first game was good(excluding storyline) on the X360, but was barely decent on the PC. I don't think casual(read 'non-gaming') movie-goers are gonna be too thrilled about a futuristic(?) world where chainsaws mounted on a machine-gun are standard military weapons. Doom-much?...let's wait and see.

If i had a product at a proven-profitable fixed price whose predecessor had done well and is shaping up to be the 'Product of the Year', i wouldn't have raised the price at the last minute.
