Well, yes, we do play other games but considering the success of COD4 in 2007, it would be a surprise if, at least, one lesser known(so to say) publisher was a bit uncertain about releasing it's title in the same time frame as MW2. The game has got hype, and 'hype' does wonders for the opening sales.
About the price, well, there'll still be many gamers who're more than willing to dish out any amount of money if it means getting their hands on the sequel to their favorite mp-game....

I encountered a serious hacker the other day. He couldn't die, no matter how much bullet, frag or knife he ate. That was the first time i've seen a god-mode hack used in an online game.
I think we should have an official franchise-milking showdown between EA and Activision-Blizzard. EA for The Sims series and Activision for COD: Modern Warfare series, see who can squeeze the most out of their customers. Now THAT would make a great Reality TV show.

Anderson will make a mess of it anyway, and the only people that stand to lose are the fans of the game. There are always ignorant people who don't even know that there was a Resident Evil game series way before the movie and are willing to support whatever garbage he puts out.
If they really wanna make it right, they should fire Anderson first. Then, they should reboot the series with the original game cast(meaning no super-Alice, this should be a survival horror movie not sci-f...
Poorly optimized, that's why it ran like a turtle, not to mention the truckload of bugs and glitches. And the second game was no different. For a game that uses so much system resources, we get so little in visual quality. First game was OK, second game was horrible...here's to hoping the third will be a huge leap up from the first two.

This could be good news, 2010 is choked full of upcoming and delayed games. Taking a bit of load off it's back would be nice.

Any major original game planned for the remaining months this year? Or are publishers afraid to take a 'leap of faith'? cause sequels, although great sometimes, are kinda getting old and overdone.

I've promised myself i wouldn't complain if the story and acting are good enough. But damn, it's hard for a person with a little bit of common sense not to cringe at the poor guy trying to look Persian. I mean, forget skin color, his facial structure is a dead giveaway. He can grow his hair, grow a beard or even get as much tan(or for some others, bleach) as he wants and he still wouldn't look like a Persian.
But enough ranting from me. I'm giving it a chance to prove that looks ...
I've encountered several obvious wallhackers during the last couple of months or so and although it takes the flavor away from the game a bit, they're almost always 'noobs' and aren't that hard to kill. One thing i can't stand, though, is the 'pro' wallhackers with serious nade-spam attitudes.
That ain't so bad. When they said 'like Contra', i thought they meant absolutely 2D.....lol
