Well, as they say,"It's all for the best.", though i sometimes wish i could jack-hammer the prick who invented that clever little line.
Since this means that we'll be getting Diablo 3 delayed as well, then i guess we can hope for Warcraft 4 in 2012 at the earliest.
Agreed on StarCraft II and Diablo III, they're long overdue. And here's to hoping for Warcraft IV in 2011.

The thing with young upcoming english footballers is that the media hypes their abilities too much(like Theo in this cover), so when they perform badly due to injuries or some such, they're instantly "yesterday's news". I still feel sorry for Michael Owen and the pressures he was forced to endure when he was younger, that certainly ruined his career.
and that's exactly why i put up the last line, brainy. English players on the cover of the english version makes sense, right? Then i guess the guys who put Ronaldinho on Fifa 08 and 09 UK covers were assassinated immediately afterwards.....
...but definitely far from good. People who've never heard about the Warcraft storyline would say, "Oh look, a 4th LOTR movie, it even has Faramir starring in it..." Screw that, as much as i love the trilogy, i don't want another LOTR-ish movie. I want a fresh new theme that is worthy of donning the name 'Warcraft', and not something that 'looks just like LOTR'.
None of those guys deserved to be on the cover. Why not Torres or Messi? Or maybe Kaka or C.Ronaldo? I like Rooney but i don't understand why he has to make the damn cover every friggin' year, even while he's performing badly. Oh well, i guess England's gotta have top priority in an english game.

The good news is - Wii users get to play COD4 and whatever add-ons are added to it.
The bad news is - MW2 comes out in the same month, so, by then MW would be yesterday stuff.
But look on the bright side, maybe MW2 will flop(although highly unlikely) and some people will stay true to MW, just like we still have hardcore CS 1.6 fans.
..it's another RE game, right? If it is, then i hope it's nothing like the last one.
And yes, it would be nice to have another DMC but the last one was really dumb story-wise. Gameplay & graphics were fine as usual, i just couldn't stomach the poor effort and little thought given to the story. Oh and BTW, fighting the same bosses 3 times each is friggin' annoying. C'mon, Capcom, you can do much better than that.
Finally, we'll see who the real pros are. Now if you'll excuse me, i've got to go spread the 'bittersweet warning' to all the shameless hackers.
Agreed with Gears 2 but WoW? You don't have to know much of the backstory to enjoy the game. Most of the players don't care, of course, as a fan of the Warcraft RTS series, I do tend to care but that's only me. I don't see why it has to make the list...

How about the nade-spamming AI in COD4 especially in veteran-mode? It's really annoying when you're about to reach a checkpoint, and a random AI tosses a grenade on your position. You quickly run to another spot only to discover another frag had already landed there before you, and all you can do is scream "Oh Fudge....."
lol...Seth was super annoying. I always hated fighting him, not because he's hard, but because he has no speciality, no originality and absolutely plain looking.
It's kinda pointless for them to release it so close to the sequel, unless this ties in with it somehow, which is highly unlikely. They should either delay the sequel and continue to make DLCs like this for the original, or save and add this to the sequel because either way the damage has been done, there's no going back.
IMO, Capt. Price seems to be the only deserving face in that list. The author should have written "...I won't soon forget." instead of "we".
He knows gamers all too well. He knows that majority of the people will still buy it even if it was $200. At least some of us here are making a stand....at least :(
