What about World of Warcraft - "The Shaping of the World"? And Fallout 3 main menu music? Oh well, I guess they still made the top 10.
Does RE5 really deserve to be on that list? And SF4 at no.2? WTF....seriously, WTF....I don't even need to mention Chinatown Wars, do I?
My thoughts exactly.....
I lol'ed at your reason no. 4 & 5. Definitely not the best storyline by a long shot. Master Chief is among my list of most boring protagonists ever in-game. Makes me wonder....have you ever played any other FPS game other than Halo?
I loved the first game. The rest is boring old crap that Microsoft churns out for the money behind it. I laugh at people who worship ODST as if it's sent from heaven or something.....*belch*
The graphics are bad, the gameplay is generic, the story is so-so. And to top it off, it has absolutely nothing new worth mentioning.
I thought he learned to keep his yap-hole tightly shut after his retarded MW2 comments. Y'know, pirating each and every game made by Activision just to spite this guy sounds like a damn good idea right now.
Well, to each his own, I guess. I personally can't see anything so special or innovative about the gameplay. Of course, story-wise it might be great, I dunno. But from that particular footage, it definitely doesn't scream "60 bucks worth". Who knows? Well see....
What kind of tester was that? No skills at all, charging around like Rambo or something. I think he's playing on easy mode too, given the amount of bullets(or whatever ammo) he's eating and still living. Any other game and he would've died a million times already.
Same here. It's sure to get some extra negative comments from early buyers. PC gamers always find the time to thoroughly check a game, just like Ass Creed and Gears....lol.
“....It’s got romance and adventure and a dagger that can control time. I’m very excited.”
That's it?
A sequel 'can' be an expansion but 'not always'. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the Halo franchise, but I think Microsoft has gone a bit overboard with this one, and I'm talking only in terms of pricing-content value. It should be an expansion pack at a maximum price $20 less than a full game price. I've never supported hardcore-fanaticism in any form because, while it may have it's merits, it gives the publishers an easy means for exploitation, like the one we're currently seeing with Activis...
This news is sad, from a gamer's PoV. But in the business world, "breach of contract" is breach of contract. Whoever breaches their agreement is gonna get a crap-load of problems and lawsuits. That is a fact. And if Interplay are indeed guilty, then they have to be punished. I don't like it either, but it's the law.
Blizzard needs to stop milking WoW and start working on Warcraft 4 ASAP
I, for one, am thoroughly satisfied with Bethesda's version of Fallout. I can't bear the thought of anyone else doing Fallout, much like Halo Wars(what a load of crap that was).
I think Bungie should be given the freedom of exploring their creativity in coming up with a fresh new IP. Microsoft, Activision, EA are all alike, they're driving their poor devs mad by demanding a new game every 12 months or so and/or limiting them to only one franchise.
I don't see that particular line. Maybe the author edited it after seeing your post....lol
Last week I was playing COD4 on some random server consisting 100% guys(in theory) when this rather friendly(and skilled too) girl joined. The whole place went nuts in a matter of seconds, and the poor girl received more than a dozen proposals within a minute, with guys arguing about who catches her attention the most and completely forgetting about playing the game. This continued until she left a few rounds later. It was funny in a way, seeing the leaders losing their concentration and maki...
...but I'm sure it's too early to say. Personally, I think Killzone 2 had more hype. As much as I hate to admit, it's probably not gonna last because MW2 is gonna storm the year-end. Like it or not, it's gonna blow the competition out of the water. I myself, am not buying it but that's not gonna make a difference. Too many hardcore COD fans....lol
I'd give it a 7/10. Not bad but nothing special either.
