I think he was talking about PS4.
Also, Switch starts off at $300, so it'd be closer to $500 for the best possible experience.
On what l, exactly? If having one awesome launch title, followed by last gen ports and shovelware titles until the holidays, somehow meant that a system would meet impossible sales numbers, then the Sega Dreamcast would've been the most successful console in history.
Console sales is a multi-lap race, not a sprint. Hate to break it to you, but Zelda alone isn't going to push even a third of that.
I don't think anything will ever top the petty levels of M$ having an Xbox 360 boat floating in water right outside a major retailer on PS3's launch night. (Sorry, forgot which country this was in)
Doesn't bode well for the future of Switch with third party. If the games don't sell well, then developers aren't going to see the point in developing unique versions of their games for the device, just like what happened with Wii U. People think the Switch will be ok no third party support, but history tells us that no console can live off mainly exclusives. Especially with the unique portability factor, it only makes sense that Nintendo would want as much support on their side a...
I'm aware. Happy with my Pro. Loving Horizon Zero Dawn. 😁
Can't wait to play Cuphead and Fallout Shelter in 4K!
Here's a fun fact you... you don't have to do the side quests. I know. This is a shocking revelation. Human beings making basic choices? What will they think of next?
I don't even know. I've got games on PS3 I've yet to play. I'm not gonna actually claim my list is a mile long (like no other was a figure of speech to prove a point), but I do have a good bit of games I've yet to play/ finish.
I have a backlog like no other, but I still take time to play games that deserve to be played, and Horizon is definitely one of those games. It's envoked a level of enjoyment out of me that I haven't felt for a game in years. No matter what happene at every turn of the game, I want to play more and more. There's something special about HZD; something very special. I've seen some people nitpick about dialogue from some side quests, but for the game has been flawless. I'm re...
Meh. Still seems like something they're doing just to try and cover up their lack of any exclusives coming. Enjoy it, I guess. I'm too busy with Horizon to even care.
Yeah it is, but because of one game. If Nintendo hadn't intentionally delayed Zelda for a year to launch it with Switch, the devices launch lineup would be god awful.
Looks like another hit for PS4. These games are just dropping and bombing the competition.
With the resoundingly positive previews this game was getting, it's no surprise that the reviews are reflecting that.
Scorpio isn't really a graphical powerhouse, unless you consider the Xbone to be one. Scorpio is going to be a mid gen upgrade Xbone that will simply run games in a much higher resolution; just like with PS4 Pro, the games will objectively be the same. This article suggests it's it's own console, but we know it's not.
I think MS announced it too early. 1) Because the constant regurgitation about its hardware has gotten really old, and 2) their lack of softwa...
I didn't mean it literally, hence the lol at the end. I get that Switch very powerful for a mobile device, but like I also pointed out, Nintendo wants this thing to be seen as a home console first. It shouldn't be barely PS3 levels in bandwidth, when it has DDR4, and at least 8 times as much to boot.
God, looking at the Nintendo fans defend this is just sad... My phone can outdo this thing lol
The fact that it's portable makes zero difference. Nintendo, that's right NINTENDO, themselves stated that Switch is a home console first. Granted, that's just them trying to cover their asses with 3DS to trick them into thinking 3DS is here to stay (they did it to Wii U owners, so don't tell me I'm wrong there), but they still said it. How they can consciousl...
That's good to hear. Maybe this will shut the naysayers up for a while. 915K might not seem like huge numbers, but it's by far the most successful headset to date, and you have to think Sony probably hasn't manufactured very many. From the sound of things, they're selling through all their units too, so if they steadily increase supply and games available for it, the sales will grow and grow.
Dude, screw that... DICE has been waving the Dinosaur mode thing in our faces for several years now. They know that Battlefield fans would kill for that, but they're just gonna take the lazy copycat route... Zombies are still very overplayed. I'm not touching another Zombie game until Days Gone.
You really think PS4 is going to slow down, and Switch is gonna pass it?..
Yeah, that's not how the market works. That's about as likely as when people were claiming Wii U would pick up again and pass the PS4, after it fell behind. With poor third party support, the Switch has already lost.
They are appealing to two completely different communities. No Wii U game thus far has had any effect on PS4 games, and it's doubtful that that many are going to spend $360 on the new Switch and the game, especially if they're only on the fence between one or the other.
@Andrew It's obvious this thing was rushed out so it could launch with Zelda. Doesn't help that Iwata announced it 2 years ago. Whatever... Nintendo is just a mess right now. Glad to see Zelda getting such high praise, but that doesn't change the fact that Nintendo is clearly making the same mistakes they did with Wii U, as well as some new ones that are actually worse.
