Hard to say until the end of this gen. PS4 is doing awesome, but PS3 had some pretty amazing games too in its last few years. I really hope Sony brings back MAG. That's the best online FPS ever, imo.
That's because PlayStation is the best console brand of all time. It's hilarious how so many doubted Sony at the beginning of this gen. They've never let down with any of their home consoles.
Thats true on one hand; if you go for all of them, you're basically getting the max amount of gameplay of your game, especially if there's long term trophies like kills or leveling. On the other hand though, they can be detrimental, especially if they're over-challenging. Competition and bragging rights amongst the gaming community. They are also a good indicator of whether or not you've played a game, and how much.
It's cool that they're finally owning up to how bad that initial reveal was, but it's been over 3 years since the console's launch, and all they've really done is talk release a handful of the same old milked IP's + plus some pointless shovelware. None of their promises to date have come true, that's why they're putting all this emphasis on Scorpio now. The PS4 has really hurt the Xbox brand.
@mike The only conceiveable reason I could see anyone saying that is that they're a PS hater with an underlying jealously of the fact that UC4 is the most successful exclusive of this gen, so far, and destroyed anything on Xbox. UC4 was an excellent game and there's no reason why it shouldn't have been made. TLoU 2 will come, and it's going to be amazing too.
Wouldn't really expect otherwise from a game like this.
If God of War gets confirmed for a 2017 release along with Days Gone, then this year is going to be very solid all around.

Couple factors to consider before taking this as some huge bragging right: 1) PS4 has a very rough start there; next to none of its games appealed to JP audiences until almost a year in. 2) Japan is very devoted to mobile, much more so than any other market.
Just looking at those, I'm surprised it's not doing better.

I think it was the other way around, like Sony was reluctant to show it at PSX, but ND wanted to. Ever since UC4 was a massive success, and ND clarifying that its the last Uncharted, everyone has been wondering what else they're working on, so they finally wanted to put it out on the table.
MLB The Show has always gotten high praise. It's the best baseball game series ever made, hence why it has no competition now. It's awesome to see how much stronger it has become sales-wise on PS4.
