Sony has been killing it so far in 2017. By early April, PS4 will have already gotten 7 new AAA titles. With MS constantly trying to pack all their releases into the holiday, it's awesome to see Sony making it a year round thing.
Because this article is clearly asking if the game is an Xbone exclusive and should it be touted as such? Unfortunately, too many people have already done so. Either way, don't really care. I had it on iPhone for about a week, got bored, and then deleted it. So if anyone wants to celebrate it's release on Xbone, have at it. Really goes to shoe how dry and sparse that console has become.
No. No it's not. I can play it on my damn iPhone.
And if they do the sequel with a small team again, make another extremely short and linear game that's mostly cutscenes, walking segments, and QTE's, then what? The game is going to get torn apart even worse by critics, and then you'll never hear another peep about it again. R@D did good at setting the kindling up; now someone just needs to get the fire going
Because Ready at Dawn was in way over their heads and failed to deliver the game to its full potential. It was their first working on a AAA game, and they still thought they could do it with only a 100 person team. I know some will disagree, but IGN was right when they said the game needed some form of multiplayer. It wasn't an open world game, and there was little to do past the first play through, so there needs to be something with replay value to justify a $60 price tag next time arou...
Kat from Gravity Rush is my Waifu. Sooo... yeah...
I really hope Sony still sees the potential in The Order IP, and gets a more competent developer to make a sequel to it. The game, while short, was really good. It just needs a longer and less linear story, and then some solid competitive/ co-op multiplayer, and it can be another hit IP for Sony. They just need a competent developer to give it a go.
It's funny how MS is taking pride in having higher YoY sales. After all, how could they not? Xbone sales last year were abysmal up until August. Bragging about that is not saying "we're doing better"; it's saying "we didn't suck as bad as last year"
If the Browns win 2 games next season, they'll have done better than last year, but do you really think that's something they'd be proud of?
Already preordered. Can't wait!
They're probably not going to restock 3DS models, or at least not much longer. Nintendo keeps talking about how 3DS and Switch can coexist in the market, but they also said the same exact thing about Wii U, and look where we are now. From a business perspective, it would be for the best that they slowly and quietly kill off 3DS; at best, it'll sell another 10 million units, before dwindling into complete obscurity. If Nintendo wants Switch to be a success, it has to have a strong pres...
I've come to the conclusion that 60 FPS is a necessity for competitive multiplayer, while 30 FPS is fine for single player/ co-op games. If a game can be 60 across the board, that's great, but it's not needed imo
I just went digital on PSN.
I went to Gamestop, assuming they'd have plenty of copies, and they had none that left weren't preordered. Either Sony and TN undershipped or this game is selling very well.
Most likely, seeing as it's a Day 1 title for Switch. Not sure why you're getting downvotes; that's pretty typical of Nintendo.
Still debating buying it. Sadly, if I want it, I'll have to get for Wii U, and the comparisons showed the Wii U version looking terrible...
There's always gotta be THAT reviewer with these types of games lol
The game is running on the Decima engine, i.e. Guerilla Games' engine. That alone eliminates ever coming to a Xbox or Nintendo system. PC is still possible, but seeing as Sony owns the engine, it's entirely up to them.
That being said, I cannot wait to see Decima in action with both Horizon and Death Stranding.
Looking back at the Wii U launch software, that's not even remotely surprising. I keep seeing a lot of positive news about Switch preorders, but the real test is going to be how well the device actually sells after the launch hype and Zelda dust settles. Time will tell.
To be honest, it just sounds like you were expecting instant gratification, but were disappointed when you had to actually do a couple things before you got to that point. It's really hard to appreciate a game like Gravity Rush 2 without having ever played the originally on the Vita back in 2012. The characters are the meat and potatoes, while the cool gravity powers in an open world setting come second. The characters are awesome and don't need fancy cutscenes to be appreciated. They...
Don't mind me, I'm enjoying comments by Ninty fans who spent years criticizing DLC and paid online subscriptions, but are now just magically okay with both.
