Also, TLoU2 gameplay seems like an obvious one. TLoU was originally announced at the 2011 VGA's (December, just like TLoU2 at PSX), and gameplay was officially unveiled at E3 2012. I'll beat that Sony is going to show it off at the very end of their show.
I know that the supposed leaked Sony Press Conference schedule was already debunked, but the part that stood out the most to me, and this was honestly the craziest, was the announcement of Resistance 4. It seems crazy and super unlikely, but if it does happen, I honestly think that will be the highlight of E3 for me. Resistance 3 was extremely subpar in my opinion, but 1 & 2 still hold the title of being two of the best MP games ever in my opinion. A 4th installment that could potentially...
They should just announce it already.
Claiming mediocrity for games you've never played. Classic fanboy.
Most likely. Sony is in the great position of not having to talk about new hardware at E3; they got that out of the way already. They can basically spend the entire conference showing off software that will be much more likely to grab people's attention. I guarantee that an announcement of God of War coming this holiday alone will completely overshadow Scorpio.
Is it really that hard?
Quantum Break? lol no
The whole "Wii U third party games didn't sell because they got bad ports" is a BS excuse. PS3 got incredibly shafted with third party games for the majority of last gen. Price is what it is at the end of the day. If you don't buy the games for that console, it'll get less support. Just the way it is. Plus third party sales problems didn't just start on Wii U. That's been an issue since the NES.
Ok? I can also get a long micro-USB cord and simply plug my DS4 into the PS4 and keep playing. If I'm not mistaken, the only way to charge Joycons is to slide them into the Switch, itself, or connect both to the controller dock, in which case that's only 1 controller.
I find it hard to consider the joy cons as two controllers. I know they apparently work very well and all, but I could never see myself preferring one over a DS4. I don't care all that much for portability, so if multiplayer centric indie titles are that important to me, I'll just buy a second DS4 for $60, rather than spend $300 on a Switch that is far weaker, and offers a lot less games.
What does it really matter in the long. Less than 1% of third party game sales are going to be on Switch. Nintendo owners don't buy non-Nintendo games, and the third party support is going to dwindle into obscurity either way.
They costs just as much as their retail counterparts when new. The reason why they can't be cheaper is because physical sales are still very strong, and publishers don't want to risk alienating their retail partners and causing issues there, and they don't have a problem doing so anyway because it's more money for them from digital. Win-Win for everyone except consumers who only buy digital.
There's clearly some sort of deal between them and Nintendo.
Uuummm... ok? And this guy is...?
This claims SNES was the best overall console of all time. The majority of the gaming industry would have to disagree. That title belongs to, and probably always will, the PS2.
Glad he's taking it in stride. Hopefully he'll stick to his guns as well, because (Sorry li yards), he's actually right and none of those tweets were racist. I read them, and all he did was call out the obvious bullshit double standards that come with being white in western culture today, and so many non-whites/ white-apologists either ignore it or enhance it. Fun fact: whites are the only race in the United States that can be legally discrimated against. I'll gladly play this...
You know... I get why people don't care for his personal views, but they are his personal views, keyword being personal. Playtonic has every right to remove him, but it also makes them look like more cucks who live by "you can believe what want, as long as it falls under my agenda!" types. I doubt he's going to somehow slip some "f*cking ragheads!" Comment into your game, but whatever.
The only time I've ever heard that statement is from new generation self-entitled kiddie casuals who demand every game be a massive AAA project like Horizon, but then only play CoD and BF every year. Yeah, there's definitely a higher standard for games releasing today, but that doesn't mean classics automatically lose their quality.
Now charging today's full price for a classic is ridiculous. Unless the developer completely rebuilt the game from the ground ...
Well showing at E3 this year would suggest a 2018 release window. I doubt many games unveiled at this E3 will come out in 2017.
