I didn't realize the games I listed were on 3DS. Oh wait..
Destiny is an always online game. PS3 and 360 can do that. Tell me how you think Switch can run an always online game in portable mode? Because if it can't, what's the point in it being there at when that's Switch's biggest selling point?
Also, compare Wii U third party sales to PS4.
Xbox fans have this weird belief that the money these companies make outside the US just gets thrown into the furnace. Like hardware and software sold outside the US translates to nothing.
I guess he means Xbox "exclusives" will run well. Convenient how that suddenly matters to Xbone fans; what about the last 3 years? That statistic we got at the beginning of this gen was dead on: Xbox fans only love their console because of brand infatuation. MS could make them a turd pie, slap the Xbox logo on it, have Phil Spencer tell them it's delicious, and they would eat it right up.
They not gonna even anything, no matter what they do. This gen is already set in stone. Xbox does not have enough of a presence outside NA and the UK to ever garner even close to enough attention to be competitive with PlayStation. With PS4 being ahead even in the US, Xbone's best hope is to be even in the US, but that will change very little in the grand scheme.
Because it's been time tested over the last 3 decades that the vast majority of Nintendo users have no interest in non-Nintendo titles. Why should developers waste time and money making games for that audience when it won't make a difference. Titles like CoD, Destiny, Battlefield, etc., will still make insane amounts of money with or without Nintendo versions.
They announced these titles way too soon.
I'm just really getting bored of white male guilt.
@Death You can't be serious. Do yourself a favor and take a good long look at a launch OG Xbox, and the OG controller, then take a look at a Dreamcast. If you don't see something eerily familiar there, get your eyes checked.
And the loudest dude in the room is usually the brokest.
Telling people how great your product is going to be is hype. Nothing wrong with that.
Now talking about how your product is going to be, and not even coming close to your own expectations is a completely different story.
Sony earned their place in the gaming industry. MS got in by forcing Sega's console division to cannibalize itself, quickly bought all the Dreamcast assets, and then just slapped a new name on the box. Fast forward 4 years, they got a one up on the competition by rushing out a faulty product, while throwing their checkbook around to do some of the shadiest practices in the industry to trick gamers into thinking there's actually some quality in their product. Their latest endeavor was ...
That's a big reason why the PS community loves Shu. He just seems like such a joyful guy who would always be great to be around.
"...the only thing left for them to show is games"
I have never in my life heard that as a legitimate criticism about an E3 press conference. I guess certain fans in this community are back to the phase where they conveniently forget that gaming is about, oh I don't know... games.
Sorry dude, but if you honestly believe that seeing Death Stranding in action, seeing Spider-Man in action, The Last of Us 2 in action, the potential announcement ...
"Halo 5 doesn't need split screen because I have no personal friends, and therefor no one does. Buy a second Xbone, another copy of Halo 5, and pay another XBL subscription if you want to co op with your friend from down the street!"
-Phil Spencer
I would definitely pick this up.
A game where the developers blatantly stated "we spent 2 1/2 years studying WW2".
Ok? I'm well aware there were many countries fighting in the war, or it wouldn't be a WORLD War, now would it? The main focus of the game will be the battles fought by the US Army 1st Infantry Division. So I say again... what women served in combat roles in the US Army 1st Infantry Division?
Show me evidence of female Marines and soldiers serving in combat roles within the US military during the Second World War. Females still weren't even allowed on ships yet, and they damn sure weren't pilots.
Yes, because buying a $300 Switch, then buying a mobile hotspot and spending god knows how much per month because of high data usage, totally sounds so appealing. Let's ignore the fact that the games will still look and run significantly worse than their current gen counterparts. Oh well. You Nintendrones can argue the point all day, but it remains mute; Switch isn't getting these games and that's very unlikely to change ;)
I'll keep my Switch for the 1 or ...
