Yeah, because it's totally not Xbox fans who have garnered hundreds of thousands of subscribers across YouTube by being blatantly biased, outright lying, and doing stuff as stupid as making a video of pissing on a PS4. Yeah totally only PlayStation fans being aggressive. Smfh
I really do miss the days of friendly competition between Nintendo and Sony. Even after Nintendo blatantly screwed them over, Sony still was the bigger man and chose to beat Nintendo at the console race fair and square.
True, but typical place holders would be Dec 31st, but either way it would still mean a 2017 release, which is kindof odd seeing as that's very close and yet it didn't even get a window mention at E3. Who knows? Fingers crossed.
Also, just for shits and giggles, Dec 29 does fall on a Friday, which is always a possible day for a game launch,.
It might forlorn their garbage reputation a bit, but they're not beating PS4. Ever lol
Because it's not on Switch lol
I mean how dare Capcom bring Monster Hunter back to the platform it started on, after Nintendo has exclusivity rights for several years?!?! The blasphemy of it all!
Why should they? With X being $100 more and only about 20% more powerful, there's no need. Pro is going to continue selling respectably.
Hilarious if true. Given how badly MS treated the studio during their "partnership", it's no surprise Bungie is throwing them the middle finger.
Whoever thought this was the case is a moron. Might as well be claiming the studios behind games like Gears and Crackdown were paid off by Sony too, seeing as those games are only 30 FPS.
Can't say I really care. While Switch is a cool concept, under the hood is complete crap, and the device is a secondary console through and through.
I'm skipping out on it regardless. Why get one when I can just play their few exclusives on my S, and buy everything else on my PS4 Pro? A 20% power difference over Pro isn't worth $500
PSX has been far more successful the last few years than I think even Sony anticipated. It makes sense to save the big announcements for that, where they don't have to compete for attention.
If Nintendo had actually shown off Metroid or Pokémon Switch, it would be them, but their conference was basically the same as Sony's. While SMO looks great, I have to say I'm far more excited for Spider-Man, God of War, and Days Gone. Those games look incredible.
Well, this is Naughty Dog after all.
I guess it is stupid to say Sony can win or lose here, when they've already won. 60.4 million consoles sold is still just the uphill slop for them. With all the known exclusives coming within a year, the ones yet to be announced, and the unparalleled third party support, PS4 isn't going to dwindle away any time soon.
"Pokémon will sell millions"
And you think Spider-Man, God of War, Days Gone, Shadow of the Collossus, Death Stranding, and TLoU 2 won't sell several millions of copies, each? Good luck with that prediction.
I can't say I care much about MP4, so this definitely made Nintendo's E3 for me. Thank god Nintendo are being smart and devoting all game development to Switch. 3DS needs to be cut off now.
The presentation itself was decent and certainly better than that 97 minutes of BS we got yesterday. My main complaint isn't the lack of new games, but rather the lack of solid release dates. I assumed at least one of the three, between GoW, DG, and SM, would release this year. Instead, it's looking like the big exclusive releases for the holidays are Knack 2 and Horizon DLC. That's not too bad, but it would still be nice to hear something besides "Early 2018" for the ot...
"I completely disagree with third party and timed exclusivity marketing deals, as they're very anti-consumer."
*50% of conference is "Xbox One Launch Exclusive".
The man is full of shit. I actually started to like him, and his positive influence on the Xbone over the last couple years are the reason I bought a Xbone S. After the last few months, however, his true colors have come out.
Of course not. While PS4/ Pro are dominating the industry, Xbox is trying to crawl its way back into relevancy. They're not competition because in order for that to happen, both have to be competitive; not a one way fight.
Well, depends. Both Sony and MS had a very strong finish, vice Wii which had a very strong start. When I'm talking friendly competition though, I'm referring to how companies reacted to each other then vs now; sure there was shit talking, and back and forth between using third parties to market, but no one ever infiltrated the other and blatantly tried to get rid of them. Sadly, that started with MS, and is the reason why the Xbox even exists...
