GTA5 may look and play great to you but clearly the graphics are dated. I am anxious to see the PC and next gen builds, which should show a big difference, unless Rockstar plans on gimping them for parity reasons.
NeoGaf is loaded with tech people and industry guru's and the bs isn't going to fly over there. The sad reality is that xbone fans are getting less hardware to power games.......because MS decided to include the Kinect to make the console look better than it really is. The X1 should only cost $299 to 350 at most which means they cheapened out on the RAM and GPU by $50 to 100 on each unit because they wanted to make money from the start like Nintendo.

MS is in a tough spot, they are insignificant in Japan, like 100 consoles a week insigificant. Sony dominates Europe. The real battleground for MS is US, they can't afford to lose alot of ground in that market.

Just a question, did EPIC close People Can Fly studio or is this just a former employee? I believe this guy was a founder of People Can Fly before EPIC purchased them I just did not relize he was no longer there.

Agreed. I have played so much COD and Halo games and matches I find myself more excited for games like Destiny in my older age.
I am holding off for the PS4 and X1 version annoucement.
Destiny is so much more of a game than Titanfall looks to be.
I was excited on the Roman premise for Ryse, but honestly that game has some major gameplay issues that I don't see being fixed in less than two months. I have a feeling Ryse is going to Fall hard critically and commerically.
Deanc that shows what you know which apparantly is very little. If you have PS+ you get Resogun and Warframe full games for free not a third of a game like Killer Instinct. Driveclub is also free but not sure if thats full game.
I think the concept is a good one, but if Crytek and MS were smart they would delay this 3 to 6 months. I have been following this game since E3 because I am a big action hack an slash fan. The GOW, Ninja Gaiden, DMC series, etc. etc. I really enjoy these games but I don't think Ryse is ready. Of course they were caught off guard and it was evident from the start. After Sonys reveal in Feb, MS announced the X1 reveal for April, then had to push it back a month, that right there shows they were not ready.
Everything MS has been doing is reactionary to Sony and that means they were not ready.
As far as the console being rushed, I guess we will see soon, they rushed the 360 to get a head start on PS3 and it costed a billion in RROD expenses. Won...
Looks like a great port, a dip in resolution but maintaining all the PC assets and 60 fps is quit an achievement on old hardware like 360 and PS3.
Ryse shouldn't be a launch title it could benefit from another 3 to 6 months development time and if they were smart they would delay. It needs much more polish and animation work also they really need to work on adding more combos and moves for a hack and slash game.
I think the audio could use some variety as I watched the video the same clanking noise of sword on shield was used over and over again with no variation in the sounds, for me that takes me out of the imm...

All I really know is the Wii U version exclusivity was a big deal and it was up for preorder for a time before it was announced as multiplatform, probably because third party sales are sucking on Wii U and its losing third party support by the day.

Why is this even news and presented like somekind of victory for Wii U? The fact was it was exclusive for Wii U and had like 6 months extra worth of preorders before it went multiplatform, so of course first week sales should be more on Wii U.
Wii U is for Nintendo games not multiplatform games.
