very good points! excellent discussion! i agree that homosexuality is a human anomaly and that traditional marriage must be defined properly.

i will concede that every voter is their own person. but if we have laws to protect them in the workplace, why not in their choice of partner. and when i say "their" i mean all working American citizens.

yeah, i remember playing NBA Jam on my genesis with my bro and like 3-5 other friends. we'd all be over each others shoulders and waiting for the next open controller...lol good times!

on n64, it was diddy kong racing that we'd play the most. when i moved out and lived with my cousins, it was super smash bros on their game cube. nothing online really entered my world until x360.

whatever your political affiliation, vote no on 8. true love should never be censored, no matter of which sexual preference it manifests itself from.

edit at below:

not because of it. but because these rights were never considered in the forming of our nation. times have changed, people are different and it's the people's duty to allow for these changes. otherwise become the nation we were fleeing from back in 1775...(religious persecution, etc.)

who puts their console in time capsule like that?

from the site:

Yeah, it's true. People have no one to blame but themselves if they fail. But not all failures can be averted. You can lose your job in this current economy, no matter how good a worker you are. Does that mean that you personally failed? No! There should still be aid for those in need, and it shouldn't be that hard to get to.

If you ever see a homeless man standing outside in the rain with a sign that says "Will work, for food", tell him that he'd better serve himself a...

Raam killed Kim...OH! Right! There's the scene where Raam executes this other Cog soldier point blank!

Is that Carmine too?

Lol! I'm confused...Carmine's been head shot, Berserker bashed, and point blank executed and STILL manages to be in Gears2! What a n00b, he's GOT to be the f*ckin rookie of the crew that they always have to save!

ha! (lol, sorry)

im just merely stating the obvious detractors behind ps3's hype. a console that has been cheaper than it for a LONG time is giving it a run for its money in the one thing that PS3 should have no problems with: graphics!

6287d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

wow...ps3 has a bluray, and 2k said it themselves that it didn't prove to be beneficial in the conversion of this x360 game.

...but couldn't they have at least put it on the disc??? i mean im sure there was plenty of room left on it!!!

Yeah, but hardware that costs you as much as a ps3 and touts graphical prowess has no excuse to be anything less than stellar. Sure, i'll settle for a notch lower, like awesome. But the fact remains that ps3 is nowhere near as invincible or superior as many have been lead to believe.

Does that mean Resistance2 sucks? Nope not at all! Buy it and make R3 ever more possible!

edit: your screens are pretty low res, so basically less than stellar:)

edit at be...

here's the diff:

a console that costs (x) more dollars should be (y) times better than (n) console.

IF n1 + x > n2 THEN n1 = (y)n2

problem is both consoles are pushing graphics that are neck and neck, despite being internally different. their architectural differences aren't counting for much, despite their price difference.

you guys are sour because you can't do your math??? 4/5 = 8/10. every number in a 1-10 scale can be fit into a 1-5 scale, using decimals/fractions. what's a 9, a 4.5! neither scale is better nor worse!

when was an 4/5 (or 8/10) ever bad? never! of course, a 9.5/10 is better, which IGN gave to both Gears2 and Resistance2!

game on peoples...not flame on!

^^^is that Saiyuki??? man, that's my FAVORITE anime! i wish they'd make a game on it! like a jrpg or something, the story was awesome!

edit (boy am i embarrassed! how could i have not gotten THAT one! i swear...it must be the artist of sayuki)

BIG FATAL FURY FAN! i have the movie, with that Laocorn guy and the Armors of Mars. excellent fight scenes and brutal combat!

In one of the dev diary videos, you hear Marcus tell Dom "let's go find Carmine"

I have a question: just HOW many times did that guy die in Gears?!

he was headshot in near The House of Sovereigns (when he complains about his gun jamming)

he get's beaten to death by the Berserker (unless that's someone else)

Even if it's a different guy, I KNOW that was Carmine who got head shot!

How's he in Gears 2 then? Unless this is...

(a repost of my openzone comment)

"Some levels load with smooth surfaces as detail fades into view within a few seconds. It's strange at first but less abrupt than the original issue of jumping into detail."

There were moments like in that in Gears as well. Actually...in just about any heavily UE3 based game (including UE3 itself) you'll find that. One thing I noticed, it's nowhere to be found in Bioshock! That game loads like the wind!

yeah it's really sour of Apple (pun avoided) to do that. eh...it's business. no matter how dirty or dishonorable. hey, apple went through its fair share of criticisms too (still stuck with the "underpowered" stigma). i'll give apple credit for digging itself out of a tough spot in the 90's to a decent start in the new millenium, and an overall awesome decade.

i like windows more, but macOSX is super too. guess this thing called an ecosystem means we should all learn to ...
