I believe we've reached a point in gaming history where games have truly lived up to and exceeded the gamer's expectations. It's even better when developers can do it while being respectful to others, so I hope Turn 10 takes this sweet victory and remembers how humble they began. And to thank Polyphony Digital for being so great at what they do.
In my opinion, Skorge from Gears 2 should've just remained as he did when he first showed up in the game. He should've been just a "force" that keeps popping up every so often and you have to deal with him. Like he works in the background and isn't just some battle with an ending that means killing him.
Killing Skorge killed Gears 2 for me...everything else in that game rocked though!

Well Banjoe isn't a hardcore gamer's game, so that's why you're getting disagrees.
Hardcore games don't necessarily have to be all blood guns n guts, but that's where a lot of shooters come into play just naturally. And they're right, Horde mode in Gears of War 2 is an undeniable innovation that Epic brought this gen for hardcore gamers.
Well it's obvious you didn't read where I said that it might not have been done in Gears FIRST, however it was done its BEST in Gears.

Innovation...for hardcore gamers...that's gotta be the cover system of Gears plus the up close lancer chainsaw. I'd also give mention to the Locust AI, they're pretty determined. Add in the shield from Gears 2 and grenade tagging.
It might have been done before, but nobody did it better than Epic with Gears. It's a very satisfying tactical 3rdPS series...I still think the first is the best though.
Trailers and compressed videos never do these games justice. Forza Motorsport 3 has great graphics for a truly definitive experience.
It's got just about everything that should be in a generation-leading racing game. Turn 10 does it again...and maybe they'll get in a third game before this gen is over, who knows!
I went through 12 ps3s...seriously, on my way to buying an Elite I passed by 12 ps3 boxes stacked up 3x2x2 high on a display and said no thanks, I know what I'm here for.

Insane, these reviews are pretty spot on and it's great to see Forza pulling in such high marks.
Whoo! Nice, certainly this is a good game and a great review. I think Turn 10 defends their crown and honor once again with Forza Motorsport 3.

The graphics are sharp enough to make your eyes bleed...this is one graphically intense game!
Conviction leaves Uncharted 2 in the dust pretty easy.
