MGS Rising...retarded action spinoff? Any other prejudices you wish to share?

I just don't get you fanboys...you act like you have the game in your hands and have played through it already. You haven't even seen any gameplay, yet you already know enough about it to call it retarded. Susan Boyle had similar criticisms...guess how much money she's worth now.

I'd say...more than you.

Listen to the dumbshifts up there trying to downplay MGS Rising. They still have issues going to bed at night because their fanboy world shattered when the man himself Kojima said that there will be an Xbox 360 Metal Gear Solid title.

Stop trying to paint an incorrect picture, you don't even have 1/5th the brushes to throw on canvas what this genius of a developer can. Give Kojima an Xbox 360 and Natal and it's nothing but working the magic after that.

Seriously, sto...

They both have photo modes. So they both use bullshots. But it's cool, since basically you DO get to see those shots, just not while racing.

It's not dishonesty, it's how they made their game. It's hard to expect that the graphics would be that smooth anyway. The AA samples and LOD are just too rich for this gen's current hardware.

If Forza's dead why mention it? Keep it clean, or comment in the open zone.

...actually that;s just what PS3 fanboys did when they bought GT5 p :\

Odd. We get whole games.

Yeah. It was way overhyped.

Well I was hoping that Intel would've picked up the GPU contract for its Larrabe GPGPU, since then they'd have a good way to guarantee shipments. Still, going with ATi might be Microsoft's best decision since it'll keep their relations strong. Maybe they'll also team up with AMD for their CPU...but I think IBM is gonna fight to keep what they got, supplying all three console manufacturers!

It's not possible on such an inferior machine...PS3 would need at least twice the memory, a second RSX GPU, a Martha Stewart/Barbara Walters lesbo scene, forty-two minutes of stirring, a lock of Amy Whinehouse's pubic hair, Joe Montana's left pinkie, a bent spoon that's straight, ninty-nine loops of Daft Punk's "Around the World", a bottle of Unicorn piss, and two Dinosaur eggs before Mass Effect would even load the title intro.

Landing on any of the planets alone would...

I won't get into it either, just leave it as is. Mass Effect ***as we know it*** will suffer from being ported over to PS3 ***as is***

It will need to be optimized for the standard shader array of the RSX and for the specialized SPEs of the CellBE.

edit @ MGSR

Actually, lol...we HAVE seen MGS go multiplatform! Damn...(looks out the window for flying pigs...sees cops being thrown from vehicles...lol)

...those games are exclusives. My point EXACTLY! Mass Effect pushes unbelievable graphics even today with the original being almost 2 years old.

It's scope and sheer ambition alone have remained unmatched, even by the approaching 2010 exclusives on PS3. Mass Effect 2 will easily be a GotY contender next year.

And that includes graphics...

edit @ the disagrees

Well disagree all you wan't, Mass Effect the original already beats Heavy Rain...i...

It's technically possible on PS3, but they'll have less system memory to work with and a substantially weaker GPU. So the Mass Effect we know won't be what makes it over to PS3, let alone the marvelous work they're pulling off for Mass Effect 2.

There will be compromises...

edit: it's true, PS3 and Xbox 360 are very different systems. There are very few multiplatform engines that perform well with both consoles. It's true that Mass Effect is UE3 based, and UE3 can be...

Working on Mass Effect would be awesome. Working on their own Mass Effect like RPG would be awesome too.

RE 5 pushed almost 4 million per frame using the MT framework 2.0 engine. So it's actually double Uncharted 2's geometry detail.

http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...

"Each frame is comprised of between three and four million polygons"

And it's a multiplatform game!

5945d ago 1 agree5 disagreeView comment

...2 million triangles every frame? That's all? RSX is weaker than I thought! Tomb Raider AoD put out about as much back in 2003!

2mil/f x 60fps = 120mil triangles/sec

Xbox 360 Xenos GPU = 1.5bil vertices or 500mil triangles/sec = ~8.3mil/f @ 60fps

PS3 RSX GPU = 1bil vertices or 333mil triangles/sec = ~5.5mil/f @ 60fps

I like how the PS3 fanboys bombarded this article right away, good job guys! How much were you paid...wait, you guys do this for free? Man, you guys are more desperate than I thought!

Seriously...not even a dime was made off your hard work? How do you guys support yourselves?

It's going to be easy for GT to top Forza. It just needs a penis first.
