De mo.
Anyway, of course I'd rather have GT5p than a Forza MS 3 demo. Now, about the final Forza MS 3...yeah no contest there. I'm sorry it's 2009 so it's time to upgrade that ole beatup 2007 model ;)
I am but I'm not sure about Fenix there :P
It wouldn't be an evolution...PS3 eye toy doesn't do what Natal does. The Wiimote doesn't do what Natal does. The PS3 Wand doesn't do what Natal does. Sixaxis doesn't do what Natal does.
Natal represents a significant leap, visual motion tracking and voice recognition. It's going to be pretty new stuff. Now we just need the games, so I hope Kojima is working on something.
Well it could also be just his critique of where Microsoft is heading. It doesn't necessarily have to mean that he's working on anything.
But I hope so! Lightning bolt action + Natal = something REALLY new.
I think integrating apps into the dashboard is better than trying to get it to work in a browser. It's like MCE, when everything has its own interface and menus specifically tailored for the controller then it's a much better experience. PS3's browser might be able to get you by since it's free and it's there, but it's not like how the dashboard offers a new experience altogether.
I think I'm seeing chain of coincidences here, but of course nothing's solid yet. I'm just thinking...I dunno why, suddenly I just started, I dunno. I have this idea just now, about being able to do all those excellently choreographed fight scenes in MGS4 through Natal. Just imagine being a part of those scenes!
The sky's literally the limit.
edit: or how about ZoE! freeflying as Jehuty (or someone new) in some awesome fastpaced mech action.
Lightning bolt action...plus Natal...something's in the works, the likes of which we've never seen.
Kojima seeks to top his work with everything he does, so I'm sure he's already working on something that will wow the world.
edit: I've been alright really. i moved to the valley :) i didn't buy odst. i got a new mouse, the microsoft one with bluelaser tracking. pretty smooth!
Ju, that's not true. Xbox 360 has a huge library of games covering all genres. Sure it has a ton of shooters, that's just in response to the demands of the market. But that doesn't mean that 360 is just for hardcore gamers. Microsoft has specifically targeted gamers of all tastes with not just games but features. Xbox Live actually tailors to all gamers. You can forget all the features you don't use and still be left the ones that you need. If you want to experience it all it's there.

lol, what a fast one
91 is "a lot higher" than 84? It's like not even a full grade higher!
Stop trying to downplay Rising! Just because he's decided on letting MG go multiplatform doesn't mean that the series will be a disappointment from that point on. It wasn't even a Sony series to begin with, and I've seen Kojima do work on other consoles anyway. You're actually insulting the guy by not thinking that MGS Rising will be up to his standards.
Playing as an old man doesn't sound disloyal at all to me, I think it's great how Kojima truly and artfully conveyed Snake's life throughout his series. He's a man who refused to throw in the towel, even in his old age.
Respect the bandanna!
ODST beat KillZone 2 in a day? Man...in a DAY! Lol, that's gotta be embarrassing.
In one day a game that's only been developed for a little while has outsold PS3's premiere "many years in development" FPS.
B3yond funny, lol.
You want their kids to starve so that you (a kid) can be happy?
People who buy ODST for the Reach beta key ONLY would be really stupid to do so. They know they're paying $60, so I don't think that's all they're getting it for.
In fact most of the people who buy it might not even be interested in the beta at all.
It's got some fantastic levels for the single player campaign as well as great multiplayer maps.
The soundtrack is really well implemented. Halo 3's sound has so much inspiration and it shows, from character dialogue to special effects.
Weapons and combat. The shield, the tripmine, the flare, the Covenent Sniper Riffle, all of it's just great. And things can get really inventive, like tossing a bubble shield into a jetstream. And blind throwing a grenade, the con...
You gave it 8.5 for online and then said it's nothing new. For me if I felt that way I'd give it less...so you weren't really honest.
Repeat after me: a review is an opinionated analysis. It's baised. The only unbiased opinion is NONE, since it wouldn't be an opinion anymore. Analysis based on fact and resulting in nothing but fact is something that fanboys are incapable of producing.
I don't think either side has more truth than the other side in what they believe. The problem has more to do with slander and trying to downplay everything else.
PS3 fanboys in particular have a very bad complex of believing that PS3 is a better console, and they're so preoccupied with trying to convert other people to that same belief.
It sounds almost religious, right? Well then my policy on that applies here too: don't shove your beliefs down my throat. And d...
At Saaking:
So the other article where GameReactor gives Uncharted 2 an 8/10 is just them being honest and not being fanboys, right?
Works both ways ;)
they called the first GT a simulator too...
Forza is a lot better than you care to give it credit for. But if it helps you sleep better I guess I shouldn't try to burst your bubble. It's like Morpheous says: "once a mind reaches a certain age they should never be unplugged since it becomes difficult to let go"
Well you keep living there my friend :)
