PS3 fans need to be shown what next gen means, so it's only natural that after they threw Uncharted 2 away that they'd be more interested in seeing this game be released on PS3 ;)
Just buy an Xbox 360.
Actually, having one disc puts more strain on the whole product veruses using ONLY the disc you need. And bluray discs aren't scratch resistant. Developers prefer you having to go out and buy a new copy of the game than to give you something bulletproof.

It'll be higher bitrate and higher definition but that doesn't mean that you'll benefit from it, the game renders at 720p anyway so it gets downscaled to fit the screen.
Unless it switches display modes before hitting CG, which would mean your display going black for a sec.
I don't see why playing it on Xbox 360 would be intolerable. They'll both be the same game, different controller and different console that's all. If you want to get it on PS3 that's just your preference, but it's not like Xbox 360 can't handle HD gaming.
Also having to swap discs doesn't make a difference to me. And the quality will be the same, although I'm sure they'll pack plenty of content to keep fans happy. And of course there's sure to be content exclusive to one side or ...

Lol, look CellBE never hit the mainstream. In PS3 they found a steady contract and there were a lot of companies that bought Cell based servers. But it didn't go any further than that. It would've been great to one day see desktop PCs using CellBE (I think Mercury Systems makes a PCI-e Cell Accelerator Board).

Having a Google Chrome OS doesn't mean that OEMs will offer it, usually they'd prefer selling the customer a machine with Windows on it since it's easier to support and troubleshoot in bulk.
I'll give them a chance though, seeing as how progress IS progress, Microsoft can't do it alone and the future is brighter when there's stuff to look forward to besides what we already know :)

Overhyped? Sure. Overrated? Nah, it deserves every credit it's been given. But that doesn't mean that it's the BEST FPS out there, it all comes down to preference. I know lots of COD players out there, but not everybody has to believe it's the best.

I didn't like PGR4 as much as I thought I would...wasn't anywhere near as deep as I've come to expect from Forza and GT. But the graphics and weather were great.

I was demoing an Xbox 360 for a customer at the Best Buy I work at and loaded up the Forza MS 3 Demo. The customer responds "Oh wow, the next GT already came out?" and I said "Do you mean GT 5?". And he says "That's the one after Prologue, right?" and I said "Yeah, but this ain't it. This is Forza MS 3". Then he looks at me like "Really? And it's not on PS3?", I responded with "No, it's an Xbox 360 exclusive. But if what you HAVE is a PS3...
In my Geek Squad precinct we've had customers come in with several PS3 consoles that have failed, actually more so than I've seen with people coming in with Xbox 360 consoles. Of course those people might be sending it out themselves and skipping us altogether, but the point is that YLoD is real.

Borrowing from Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, and just about any B movie with a Mark Wahlberg dark-haired hero. There's nothing new in Uncharted or Uncharted 2. It's a pretty game. It has some awesome prerendered cinemas and some great controls.

Uncharted will be mentioned somewhere in there, just not at the top where MW 2 belongs. I caught up with Nathan Drake somewhere in the streets of LA and explained the situation. He replied that he "already knew Uncharted 2 didn't stand a chance". So I gave him my best wishes, a half eaten loaf of wheat bread, $2.50 in pennies, and a McDonalds voucher for a free kids meal.

Nicely put! It's very true, gaming has its origins and credit should always be given to the ones that made it possible.
Of course a chainsaw bayonet is something I'll never forget. Gears owned 2006 for me, it was everything I ever wanted in a next gen 3rd person tactical shooter. I'll never forget first playing that game...well that one and Prey anyway. Both games were some awesome sh*t for their time.
