Uncharted has been Unseated.
I saw so much potential in 360 way back in 2005...now look at it. So much has been done, and there's still room for so much more.
I will say this...IF Microsoft has an epic fail in 2010 it won't be because they weren't trying. I really have to hand it to them for putting so much weight on a brand that had no chance against PlayStation last gen. They really bet the farm on 360.

It's not really a tale of betrayal as most have made it out to be, it's just one company's decision to stick with an aged format. Sony had their eyes set on the future, while Nintendo went into its 3rd gen with cartridges.

I still think games really don't need to imitate life. It's a valid form of art and I'm glad that it's come this far, but I just don't see much in it for me now that I'm an adult.

Well sure, it was an overstatement. But you'd think that at least the prologues would've been free, since it's all essentially just beta testing so that they can make GT 5 better.
So it's gotta be that the demo IS indicative of the final product's quality...and anyone that disagrees with that I'd have to ask then W H E N are we going to S E E that quality? When it finally releases??

I think it's a right slap in the face to have a game so long in development as GT 5 and yet only be able to show off 200MB of it in the demo. And on top of that they released so called "prologue versions" of their games and charged you for it every time.
Polyfony = shamelessly milking their "perceived" superiority. At least Turn 10 had to fight hard for the rep they've been able to acquire, and they did it TWICE while GT 5 hasn't even left the garage.
I can pick this bundle up plus a second back wireless controller for $250 through expertzone since i work for best buy (geek squad).

I don't think it works that way, both versions were built from the original PC build of the game. And that version is the better looking of the three, despite being on the same DVD as Xbox 360 games.
The trailers of the first years of FF XIII's development weren't realtime, they were CG. When they finally showed gameplay they also announced the Xbox 360 version being in development. Everything from before that point up until E3 2008 was only what they'd already worked on with PC,...
FF XIII already looks way better than Uncharted 2 Kill Zone 2 and MGS4 so it's already been proven that Xbox 360 can do much better graphics. I think they're very confident in their ability to work Xbox 360 and will be bringing us some awesome games in the future, maybe PS3 as well if they're in the mood.

However Uncharted 2 is nothing new. It hasn't even left Earth, whereas even the original Mass Effect already went for the stars.

Seriously, could you REALLY not give Xbox 360 credit it deserves for being everything Sony wishes its PS3 was? Without Xbox Live pushing innovation I don't think you'd have as many friends as you do now on PSN.

PC gaming may be graphically superior but it's not aesthetically superior. Given that you usually need to have a seriously beefy system I'd rather put the money toward a bigger TV, bangin' audio system, and a better couch experience.
Looks much better than that horribly jagged and unrefined Uncharted 2 game, whatever that was anyway.
Saaking, you NEED to play Blue Dragon. If you really want to feel that old Sakuguchi magic then you'll find it there.
Blue Dragon has the best graphics in a jrpg I've seen so far, it's very smooth and very well animated.
