They might have some push where the Roms (but only ones that are their own ips) are concerned, but if the hacks are unpatched and do not include the Roms with them, I don't think they can do anything about that as Nintendo doesn't own the hacks. This is why most sights that put up hacks don't include the rom and require the user to do their own patching.

I'm looking forward to Republique and the new Mirrors Edge games, but think I'll just wait until they're out to get them. When next payday comes around, I need to get a bigger hard drive for my PS4 before buying any more games anyway.

I'm agree. I was going to post, "Buy a new game." But you beat me to it, though in different wording.

While I am not a fan of this reviewer, I am appalled at this attack on freedom of speech. Hopefully the court will throw out this case which is nothing but bullying someone for having an aposing opinion.

If Nintendo is smart, they'll sit back and see how things play out with Sony's VR release. It's usually those who come after the pioneers, bringing a superior product that make the real money from an idea.

Agreed, that not a future I want either. Though I am not a Microsoft fan, I do think though that people are blowing this all out of proportion. MS isn't trying to kill consoles, they are just trying to save Windows, which is their main bread and butter. More and more people are starting to move away to other operating systems, a trend they want to stop. If they need too, MS will not hesitate to sacrifice the Xbox franchise to save Windows, but they aren't trying to destroy console...

I have to agree. I actually like the Wii U tablet-controller, but it does have real buttons. I don't think I'd like this thing at all as I hate touch screen buttons for main control use. For maps and menus or typing it's fine, but when jumping or attacking I want the precision that only real buttons can offer. Thankfully this is probably fake.

Not too long ago I was pretty mobbed for posting VR could have this type off effect on people. I wasn't even saying it would for sure, just that it could. I think people would be wise to set their enthusiasm aside and find out if VR Is really for them before spending all that money. For me it's not, because because I don't want anything that turns my gaming into work and because I don't feel enough study has gone into VR health wise. Of course it's their money so it...

Not me. People are getting so excited over this when it's really just another form of motion control. VR is not for me for the same reason I don't like motion controls or Kinect. To me, gaming is for relaxing, I don't want to have to stand up and turn around to see behind me. I don't want to strap on gear every time I go to to console, then take it off and put it back on every time I need to step away. In short, anything that turns gaming into work is not for me and I do...

I've been enjoying it. One thing I really like about the Just Cause series is that it actually seems like a mature game in the way the characters speak. For instance, they only use profanity where it's called for. In many open world games the people use profanity in every sentence, which is down right silly and something mature adults don't do. It's nice to play a game where all the characters don't sound like a bunch of teenagers trying to sound tough.

Atari 2600 games were a lot cheaper than today's games. Also they were based on arcade games, not the kind of games this article is talking about. Arcade games are a completely different gaming model based on high scores with practically unlimited gameplay for those who enjoy that type of gaming (myself included,) with many fans still playing their favorite arcade games 30 years after their release.

eSports is huge, especially in eastern countries. If it were a hit with them, it wouldn't need causals to be a success. Capcom doomed SFV, if indeed they did doom it, by releasing a game that was inferior to it's previous SF releases.

There are a lot of games we would never get at all if English voiceover were required for localization. If it's a choice between subtitles with Japanese voices or not getting it all all, I'll take subs any day. I wish those moaning and whining about it on forums across the Internet would shut up and go find something they'd be happy with (there are no shortage of games in English) instead of spending their time discouraging publishers from bringing over niche titles that we migh...

8 is way too generous for this half baked game. I'm a fan from the second game on, but Arcade mode has always been my favorite part of the game and where I like to train before taking on real players. With no arcade mode, this is a no buy for me. I'll stay with USF4 until when and if 5 is updated to a full SF game.

I agree. There are so many speculations and rumors being passed off as fact about NX that it's hard to have a real idea about it. There's even been a lot of indication it's going to be their next hand held system. The 3DS is about due for a successor, but replacing the Wii U no matter how it's doing, mid gen would be a very bad idea.

New doesn't equal better. This is click bait, as this is purely a matter of personal tastes. Twilight Princess HD is a day one for me, while the other isn't even on my list. I'm sure it's the other way around for some.

Funny how many people disagree when you're stating a simple fact about your own tastes. I don't care for the series either. I played one and two, and after playing two I decided I wasn't going to waste money on it again. I've seen nothing so far that's led me to believe I would like this one.

I agree, there are a number of great titles already out for the PS4. There are a lot of people out there who don't even like the Uncharted series, which is basically a FPS in third person, so it's a game for those who like that genre. On the PS3, Uncharted 2 was possibly the first game that really showed what the system could do graphically, so a lot of people wanted it for that reason. Since there are already games that can rival Uncharted 4's graphics, I doubt it will have ...

It's getting pathetic these days how often a game you bought will require you to spend more just to be able to fully access the game. Paying for a true extension to the game is one thing but tagging on extra ways to milk the game for content that was already in it is another thing all together.

Piracy has always been unavoidable, anyone thinking otherwise is kidding themselves. Recently I was going through really old game magazines that were made available online and have come across articles discussing the piracy problem as early as 1982. One thing I think would really help fight it, is that if companies would reward those who want to buy their games rather than than make them suffer for what thieves steal. Would encourage those who were on the fence to buy. However there doe...
