@maniac, tell that to that dopey Microsoft CFO, COO(?) he's the one who said they wanted gamepass on Nintendo/playstation. I guess multiple personalities Phil Spencer has contradicted himself as well, who knows what his position will be next week. Guy never shut up, lol.
I don't care how rich Microsoft is, 100 billion in acquisitions for a base that doesn't buy your games anymore expecting them to be free is kinda nuts. They probably want to sell to people who will pay full price. If I was Sony I wouldn't accept any Microsoft games on their store unless they're treated just like every other game with the same cut from sales. Gamepass would be a non-starter, let Microsoft continue to devalue their own games.
Don't kid yourself, Spiderman 2 will sell millions over the holidays and over the next year. Stanfield, lol, has already peaked and has begun its steady decline in interest. Xbox needs to get out of this day 1 release on gamepass nonsense it's killing the perceived value of their games/brand.
This topic/article is an easy dunk on the xbox faithful but I will resist the temptation. Lol. I think xbox problem is a brand problem, public at large just doesn't seem to find xbox as an attractive platform/brand. The selling of xbox gamepass as an "affordable/cheap" way to play games was always misguided for a piece of entertainment. They need a change of leadership.
@moom I own it and it works great. Make sure your ps5 is connected via ethernet cable to your router.
@Rynxie have you played it? I've had since launch and it's a fantastic handheld device. Comfortable and light weight with a clear big screen. Those looking for a way to play their ps5 anywhere with Wi-Fi should consider getting a portal.
Do more of what? It plays your entire ps5 library including all ps plus games downloaded to you hard drive. There has been too much focus by haters on what it can't do then what it does do.

In my opinion, playstation has cracked the code, the portal has filled a huge hole in their gaming offerings that being handheld gaming. I started playing Lies of P over the last 3 days strictly on my portal. I've played at home and at family members places. It's fantastic. Screen is beautiful and if you're connection set up is right, it works flawlessly.
Xbox fans have been working overtime spreading their bile over anything portal related becuase many of them are bitter about anything playstation hoping that it will fail. It's actually kind of entertaining to watch the effort these dummies put into hating an accessory, lol. Read the comments on the article and you have weirdos accusing the writer of being paid to write the article, hahahhah.
You technically don't "need" any game or any product designed strictly for entertainment.

I believe they are planning something big with Bloodbourne, maybe a full remake and/or a sequel to it by one of their studios. With all the hype around elden ring and new players being introduced to From software a new release of bloodbourne in whatever form is a slam dunk.
I'm a portal user and it's generally been great.
Complain, complain, complain. I go on ps store and see hundreds of games, AAA, AA and A etc to buy and play. Is this an article about wanting more of these smaller indy games, because they're there more than ever before. Or is this just another whine about playstation article about how they're aren't making such and such games that cater to my specific likes, we all know these articles attract the usual deranged playstation haters.
