Yep, a big bloated corporation like Microsoft never had any business in the gaming industry. There is simply not enough money in it for a 3 trillion dollar company to have any interest in gaming but for to control it and cram it into their existing services model. Microsoft simply has no interest at a fundamental level in the art/creativity of making games. They will cut corners and do to abk what they've done to Halo, forza and now Bethesda. Middling products good for shareholders bottom...

Should have made it 3rd person that's the way a game like IJ was ment to be played. I understand the developer is use to 1st person but get out of your comfort zone and try something different. Don't own an Xbox but I'm a big fan of classic IJ and would have maybe picked this up on pc (when get around to building mine)

I'm more interested in knowing what Sony is going to do to prevent this sort of thing from happening again. Really reckless that these files were accessible externally at all even through a randsom ware attack.

After the ps3 generation I pretty much abandoned all online play apart from a few instances. Don't have the time commitment to be good enough to play competently in some of these games. Hell Divers will be a return for me.
You'll know when xbox is actually on to something when their presentations are no longer defined in terms of being a "return to past glory"
Someone has to pay for these games. Xbox fans have bragged about not buying games because of gamepass, and the numbers in terms of game sales bare this out. The xbox fanbase isn't big enough and the gamepass doesn't bring in enough revenue in light of almost 100 billion in investment by Microsoft over the last 5 years.
Good, requesting more information from Sony was just a fishing expedition. They've already reached an agreement so Sony is no longer a 3rd party adversary in this matter. It's the FTC who stringing this out fight with them.

Paul Tassi and the whole Forbes gaming writers are the biggest Microsoft fanboys/playstation haters in media(save for Tom Warren and that fat nosed dork Jason Schrier). They will not report any positive playstation news ever despite there being plenty. Review their articles and not one of them has anything positive to say about any move Sony makes.
Sony is wise to avoid further disclosure. To them this is a done deal, they reached an agreement with Microsoft for 10 years. It's the ftc alone still pursuing their case but it ain't going anywhere.

Since announcing 50 million sold and setting the 25 million target for the fiscal year, it's been a cavalcade of fud against all things playstation. Now Sony should copy the switch for the ps6 and the pro wont sell? Lol. When and if the pro is announced it will be the exact same pandemonium we saw with the ps5s release.
Platform holders should not be buying big 3rd party publishers, period. More options not less, but the UK regulatory body demonstrated that they could be had just like the eu so they have zero justification for denying the next major/minor publisher acquisition coming. Anyone thinking no further acquisitions will happen are fooling themselves. Will look back just like we did with the movie industry and realize it was bad to let it happen.
@isarai, nope this gen we've had 2 Spiderman games a gow game, returnals, ratchet, ff16, gt7, gt7vr, hfw + burning shores, demons souls etc etc. No previous playstation has ever had this amount of quality exclusives this early, none (maybe the ps2 my memory is foggy there).
@gold, the fact the an incompetent fraud like good guy Phil still has job is a testament to how little gaming actually matters to Microsoft. Now that they dropped 90 billion into it, the big guys from corporate are now running things. That's why they've started to communicate their new plans to sell games on the platforms where customers actually pay for them. They've got to recoup that huge investment somehow.
