That article was terrible. Nobody is bagging for xbox's crummy games, their own fanbase won't pay for or play their games that's reality. All of Microsofts most important ip historically has been created by someone else then it's bought by Microsoft and promptly ran into the ground, see halo/gears. We will be able to add cod to the list soon. Microsoft should stop pretending to care about gaming in general and bow out gracefully.
The gunplay is sublime, don't know about "since 2012" tho. Not that I necessarily disagree with the statement but it doesn't really matter and I don't know why there is always a need to put things you love or dislike in such terms. It is my favorite ps5 game this gen, next to gt7 vr.
Sony's layoffs prove nothing but that corporate/shareholder greed is a real thing. Playstation made the most revenue and the most profit in their history their last fiscal year but it was below expectations. I actually prefer to use the incendiary breaker against the bugs. There's nothing easy about warding off sworms of attackers at the higher levels no matter the weapon. I actually wish this game had better/more effective guns so I could solo at higher difficulty levels.

Gamers gave become too hyper focused on the business of gaming, I blame Microsoft with their outfront public focus on the industry and their plans to transform gaming in general. Seeing anybody laid off from a job they rely upon sucks but I don't proport to have the solution to all thats wrong with the industry of gaming. Helldivers 2 is a great game, no need to worry about what comes next.

@GamerRn, no what people like me stated in regards the recent abk layoffs was that it was highly predictable and that many of the xbox dopes who argued the acquisition would be great for abk employees looked pretty dumb in making such claims. Microsoft even got a stupid trade union to back the acquisition which has since blown up in their face.

Sony is an entertainment company at their core, that has always been a source of strength for them when it comes to knowing how to advertise and build hype for games.
The game they were making for Sony was canceled sometime ago. Some of their founders left to work on an unannounced project for playstation.
