Love this game, picked it up later than I should but was hooked on it.
Why an hour why not 1 second before release, that will insure nothing gets spoiled, lol.
I have playstation plus premium and for the most part I end up playing games I've paid for directly that are not on the service. Subscriptions are always great in theory but in practice are mostly just a waste of money. This is true especially for videogames as you only play a set number a games a year if your a typical adult. Plus the day and date selling point is meaningless given Microsofts piss poor game output. It has also hurt Microsofts ability to sell games to its customer base wh...
Jim Ryan the legend ran xbox/Microsoft out of the console business on his his way out the door.
"Not like console players" pcmr is so full of it bunch of whinny babies. Pc players cleary have no problem signing up for 3rd party accounts as they do it for every other game. You're right Sony needs to get back to focusing on their console base who has actually made them as successful as they are. Gaas games should release on pc day and date makes sense for the health of those communities minus the pc pirates and cheaters.
People were arguing with me when I said it was a Sony decision.
SIE managed to find success with gaas quicker than I suspected. Arrowhead did a great job getting past that initial launch difficulty, I've been playing again recently doing mostly solo missions. Can't even get off the damn planet after completing everything, lol.
@Rhino, lol at the people disagreeing with you. Phillip Spencer the man to represent the average gamer as a gamer himself is in a Ferrari commercial as proud owner. Lol. Of course he'll get his golden parachute despite leaving the xbox division in flames.
Wait till they close Ninja Theory after HB2 doesn't sell so well.
Media and Microsoft were the ones during xbox purchase of Bethesda and ABK claiming it would secure people's jobs. Alot of xbox gamers argued this position hard even that dopey USA union said so. Should be a lesson to all that these larger acquisitions/mergers always result in job losses no matter what the propagandists say. Phillip Spencer is just the face of the corporation who employs him, his phony good guy image was always a lie.
@taco, stellar blade "censorship " is the perfect example of the tendency these days by some gamers to use trivial issues to create fake outrage campaigns.
@Crimson, yep 💯. These babies stomped their feet and flooded the game with fake negative reviews and Sony capitulated. Wonder what happens next time Sony tries to implement account registration.
@Christopher, lol. "Forced". Nobody is forced to buy any game or even register an account its always a choice. This nonsense is a fabricated controversy just like the dozens of other that seem to occur weekly. The dopes promulgating this behavior act like brats. All these angry gamers will have no problem setting up an account accept for a psn account.
The reviews are worthless this move proves it. The actual game remains unchanged. Sony is going to regret giving these pc dummies this amount of sway over their releases on pc.
@Christopher, what is Sony going to do the next time they try and make it a requirement to sign up for a psn account and you get this same outcry from the pc community?
Nonsense this is just another extension of the console war bs now with the rage mob from the pc community. No you have playstation apologizing for putting their games on pc on their terms, lol. Sony made a fool of themselves by backing off this minor requirement.
Absolutely pathetic on Sony/playstations part. You got bullied by a vocal group of man babies even by the developers who you've funded for over a decade now. Now you cant implement your pc strategy for a platform that makes you next to nothing in revenue annually. Pathetic.
@Notorious, are you in one of those countries? If not then save your phony moralizing for someone else. None of you guys actually care and for many of these people you fake concern over they've operated under this requirement without issue when they play cod or gta etc. But this phony outrage campaign will cause publishers to reconsider given their legal exposure. And they didn't remove the game from people who have already bought it, they removed it from being sold going forward.
Yes because only Sony has required you to have a free account to play an online game, lol. You guys are ridiculous, this has been a thing for Microsoft and all of their online games for years same for Rockstar, abk, ubisoft etc etc.
@wesnytsfs, there is zero reason to do day and date. Day and date is an instant drag on revenue, increased cost of development plus you open the game to piracy immediately. Nobody knows if console players would build a pc, but it certainly becomes an option so why would Sony risk it.
