@just_looken just stop. Your take is ridiculous, you're only building up those studios to make them being closed more impactful. Concord may not workout but the investment is relatively small in an area of gaming Sony needs to develop and gain experience in which is invaluable.
@Knightofelemia nope the purchase of ABK over the last 9 months has has had a net impact of a loss in Microsoft console business which is in steady decline. The impact of a xbox gamers not buying games, a decline in console sales and the huge expenditure of 80 billion on studio/publisher purchases has been a negative financially. That is why Microsoft hq has stepped in and forced xbox studios to go and start selling games on rival platforms, and raised the price of gamepass twice in the last...
Philip Spencer will eventually get around to telling you the whole truth, just give him a few months.
We're so close, can't wait to play.
It would be cool if it was a sequel to the first co- developed by From and Sony using one of Sony's proprietary game engines. I'd take a remake demons souls style.
Developer never actually denied the comments directly. Just weaseled their way around it.
Got it pre-ordered, can't wait. I'm a sucker for pretty graphics.
I'm so looking forward to this game next week, looks fantastic.
Another disgruntled employee report from Jason Shreier.
People forget now about the internet hate campaign against this game before it was even released. The games shorter length was a huge topic of conversation. I bought this game day 1 and I loved the look and setting of it, but the gameplay was pretty wonky at times and the boss battles were beyond terrible/underwhelming. This game had huge potential that's why many now wish there was a sequel. But it is RatD fault for making excuses for the games obvious shortcomings, you don't get a ...
Stop living in the past Microsoft. The 360/PS3 gen has long since passed, and there is no replicating it. For once, stop looking for a cheap angle/ shortcut to success and release your next console in a normal time period with a focus on developing/releasing great games on it throughout said generation. It will take a long time but eventually people will associate xbox with quality games again like in the 360 generation if you'd just give the public a chance to. Respect the process.
Day zero, name your price Sony
CFO said as much. They are looking for growth in revenue and profits.
It was caused by the Japan carry trade.
Miss videogame magazines being a thing
"You're not buying our console so you know what we're increasing it's price, that'll learn yah"
Gt7vr is the best gaming experience I've had this gen by far. I would highly recommend it to any new purchasers
@Christopher, blame Sony for trying to expand into new markets? Lol. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
Sony's biggest mistake regarding their live service plans was to so publically announce that they had some games in the pipeline as a part of some unified effort. They created a big fat target for the hate brigade to rail against. Instead of just releasing the game so people can have their own thoughts on it now we got this media driven campaign to discourage Sony from even attempting to expand the types of games they make.
You shouldn't put your "faith" in corporations or their executives. It's just that Philip Spencer has cultivated a weird cult of personality with the xbox fandom and he's invested in maintaining an image of being "a gamer just like you" nonsense which has finally caught up to him. I dont think it's Spencer's decision anymore, Microsoft is running the show now and Philip is just the face of that effort. Sony and Nintendo purposely have no such relationsh...
