This was Astro bot for me, that game made me feel like a kid again. Best game I've played in many many years.
Rockstar makes the same game over and over again. Sure with each new iteration there is more detail, prettier graphics, a more 'fully realized' world but at its core the same game as the last. At least SS largely abandoned what they had done in the past in pursuit of something fresh and new, and found success (some say their best game to date). GoW may win on this fact alone, at least more than people think.

There are great vr games today on psn. Microsoft has been a day late and a dollar short this whole generation. You'd be making a mistake to buy their next console until the demonstrate a commitment to making a wide variety of games to cater to different tastes.
They were a year earlier then Sony, considerably less expensive, had better running third party games then on the competition and games like Gears were still new to the scene. And they still lost that generation. Let's get real.
How about just hoping Xbox has a better output of quality exclusives throughout next gen. How well they do sales wise isn't entirely up to them and never has been. Sony is the dominant brand in this market, has been for years, you cant just wish that away because your an xbox fan. Sony to will want to give their base something to be excited about in making the switch to the PS5. Absolutely, for someone like me there is no other option I will never buy or support a Microsoft made console. I actually question why they are even in the console business, it clearly is not that important to them given how little they invested in you know making games.

If they were actually doing as well as the claims made in the article Microsoft would give you the raw numbers. They are the only the console manufacturer who doesn't give sales forecasts because it would cut through all the bs and spin coming from them and the surrogates. Hype is what Microsoft specializes in.
Terrible argument, if you dont have either mid gen upgrade and you own a base console already then you might as well wait for 2 years tops for the next iteration of both. This generation is for the most part over why upgrade now only to buy another console with far superior specs and much better looking/playing games some months later. Sony has 3 or 4 big exclusives left to release, xbox possibly 1? I say wait.
You can praise a game but try to avoid the hyperbole like "best game eva.." or " never in the history of gaming" it usually is not true on reflection.
Oh yeah didn't get any of these mid gen upgrades because I have yet to get a 4k tv. Which I plan to close to the release of the ps5.
You will not hear anything official about the ps5 in 2019 especially late 2019, it would affect sales during the holidays and there are big exclusives coming next year. The most I think we'll hear are more credible rumors concerning specs and a code name.
