THIS × 100. Nothing like it out there. Truly revelatory.
You win the thread, right here.
Xbox could have the cleanest, smoothest simple to use UI but it absolutely doesnt matter if you have no reason to get one to appreciate it. Most people own one console, and they chose said console on the strength of it games catalog. Not services or other buzz words MS has been pumping out. My favorite game this gen has been Astro Robot. MS is not even making VR games full stop by which to compare it to, let alone ones like Spiderman, God if War etc. I've heard alot of poster go on about ...
Good guy Phil will turn this sinking ship around, and "win back the hearts" the majority of which he never had or ever will have. It's funny how it took Microsoft several years to discover that people by consoles to play games. How long will they "stick to it" before shutting down the studios they are now opening.
He ain't lying, as good as Spiderman and God of War etc are I cant help but feel a well crafted vr version in third person mode would make the experience of playing those games better.
It's my game of the year, maybe the generation. There is just no other experience like it, it's like the best platformers you've played your whole life with this awesome immersive component you cant get outside of vr. It is a beautifully designed game to top it off and I cant wait for the sequel.
Kinda like when the bring up Microsoft market cap as giant pool of money that will be used to buy up developers and run Sony out of the business.
Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.
Astro bot for me at least totally justified. Y psvr purchase.
Buy all the developers you want people dont want xbox , they are a dead brand in Asia and most of Europe.
I'm actually seeing the opposite, a lot of comments mocking the game as vaporware or a walking simulator. The positive support is largely from intriguing story and a creator with a well earned history of creating great games.
Both Google and Microsoft rent space to from third parties outside the united states.
Microsoft from my understanding leases out space around the rest of the world from 3rd parties just like everyone else.
You cant compare them because one of them actually doesnt even exist
It will be an option maybe eventually a compelling one for everyone but it will remain just an option for the foreseeable. No need for the hyperbole, the tech from what I've read cant promise the same user experience across the board due to factors outside of these companies control. Content will remain king, not the system by which you deliver it.
"The future of gaming is a world where you are empowered to play the games you want, with the people you want, whenever you want, wherever you are, and on any device of your choosing."
Is it really though? I have never really felt like I was being denied any thing in this statement. There is only so much time in day. Seems like a solution in search of a problem.
Well apart from having the games, you know, the things we buy these consoles for.
I agree its easily my game of the year so far. RDR will be great, but imagine games like it or uncharted in vr, wow!
I love this game, platforming in vr is like how these games where ment to be played. I dont think I can go back to platformers outside of vr, they will instantly pale in comparison.
I have never owned or plan to own any Xbox and I have no problem saying the Xbox x is more powerful than the pro. It's more expensive and came out a year later. So....... what now?
