Yes, Japanese people desperately trying to mimic the western style at the expense of any kind of individual identity.
The same thing happened to Silent Hill, and look how that series has turned out with it's later entries.
I don't know what bug got up Japanese developers asses that made them think they need to copy Western games so much, Japan-centric games have traditionally sold just fine over here over the years...that's how the likes of Silent Hill and...
Capcom, you want to market the game towards action junkies at the expense of the survival horror style and milk them to death with crappy DLC? Great, go nuts.
Use some of that cash you get to fund a re-release of the Gamecube remake of Resident Evil in widescreen HD, and then remake Resi 2 and 3 in the same style.
Charge me full price for each one, I don't care, but give fans of the old style SOMETHING to enjoy. Low budget old-school Resi games released on Live ...
They're gonna have to work miracles in those 7 weeks.
It's possible, but that demo is what they chose to sell their game, to get people interested. For me, the series has just gone too far in the wrong direction. 5 was bad enough, this one takes everything I didn't like about 5 and magnifies it.
Unless they've radically changed the mechanics of it all, the demo and it's idiotic characterization (Leon is seriously trying to talk down a zombie? Really? He knows better than that after all these years. It was do...
Why can't you people just accept that there are people who simply don't like the games that you like?
It's OK for us all not to like the same stuff...we're not doing it because it's cool to rag on a popular game, we're doing it because we genuinely don't like the damn thing.
Resi 4 was great. Resi 5 was Resi 4 with less imagination and a murkier colour pallet. Resi 6 is a game that might as well not be called Resident Evil any more. I ...
Have the Wii U version pre-ordered, and really looking forward to it. Haven't played an Assassins Creed game in-depth since the first one, so looking forward to getting stuck into this one.
Got a bargain on the thing from the Ubisoft website.
I like the looks of Black Ops multiplayer on separate screens myself. Despite what the CoD detractors say, the game is fun, and the multiplayer on separate screens will be awesome IMO.
That 12gig model is being priced at £160 in the UK (though it may drop when retailers start trying to undercut. Fact is, that's a lousy price as the 120 and even 160 gig models of the previous slim were offered cheaper by several stores.
They've made the components cheaper - as all hardware manufacturers do during the lifetime of their equipment - but they aren't passing on a saving with it, it's more expensive and less capable to what's come before....
Screw you Cliffy B, we want discs to stay. I have plenty of downloadable games, but the option of disc based games should ALWAYS be there. Stop trying to kill the second hand market in some misguided effort to get more sales, it will lead to lost sales as many rely on trading in games for money off new titles.
Stop trying to punish gamers for the industry's push towards more graphics, more power etc. If you asked gamers, the majority would be perfectly happy with their 360'...
24 feet in any direction from where my WiiU will be will be outside the walls of my house....well, perhaps not the roof...but I highly doubt i'd want to play it in the damn attic.
Anything else we want to whine about with this? I think the WiiU sucks because it doesn't have a cheese grater feature. I think it sucks because it doesn't act as a ballast if I'm floating out at sea. I think it sucks because I can't play my WiiU game from miles away when I ca...
Why would you discard a game for consideration just because it appears on another format? That's completely ridiculous. Good games are good games, people will buy the WiiU - just like every other Nintendo format - for the Nintendo exclusives. Now they also get the option of big name 3rd party titles in their best form to back that up...I really don't see the problem with that other than not liking the competition.
Black Ops without a lot of the braying morons you have to en...
What rubbish. The failure rate for the 360 at it's worst never reached 50%, and as it's sold nearly 70 million consoles worldwide, with the PS3 a few million behind and a much smaller failure rate, your figures have absolutely ZERO chance of being accurate.
The Bayonetta fans causing all this fuss are the ones who used it as spank material...I post on the Game Central comments sections, and they're HUGE Bayonetta fans over there, but they appreciate it for it's gameplay, challenge and combat system. They have nothing but good things to say about Nintendo saving the sequel and welcome it's release.
The immature frothing and gnashing is just what you'd expect from frustrated 14 year old boys who are too stupid to ...
And was pirated so much that the sequel shifted development to console over PC and console games like Halo outsold it.
There's more to gaming than graphics or Battlefield. Minecraft has sold millions despite looking like crap...graphics aren't everything. I'd rather play Pac-man than some crappy movie tie-in like Thor or Battleship for example.
What on Earth are you talking about? Top of the range PC's are so far beyond what the next consoles will be doing in terms of spec it's not even funny.
I'd rather they banned humourless little internet tough guys myself, but then I have some perspective.
Inaccuracy is kind of the point of the joke dude. Besides...the Wii doesn't count.
*Activates flame shield and plays his 3DS*
Not obvious enough it seems...have you seen some of the comments on the story when you click on it?
You know all this whining about power, it's not coming from anyone who is actually interested in the Wii U for what it offers. It's coming from single platform mush heads without two braincells to rub together.
Nintendo never once claimed the Wii U was going to be bleeding edge technology, it was always all about finding new ways to play single and multiplayer games with the combination of tablet and Wii controllers to provide differing experiences for players of all levels. ...
