Meh... the headsets are cool, but the rest are more "niche" type accessories. A fightstick isn't a "must-have" if you're not into fighting games. The "Tron" wired controller? Why not the Razer or the offical MS wired controller?
GunnarOptiks? Your normal gamer has no need for these, and they really don't help enough to justify the cost.

I don't mind the other AAs, but if it's going to cause the fanbase to rage even more if it's in Halo 4, I'd rather them just not be included to keep them quiet.

Well... Halo 1 was in development since 1998, and released in 2001. Halo 2 was in development since 2001 and released in 04. Halo 3 was in development since 2004 and released in 07. The ODST "expansion" was released in 09, and Reach was released in 10... so the "major" Halo games received at least 3 years development from Bungie.

The last Activision game I bought and thoroughly enjoyed was Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 on the Dreamcast.

Crackdown obviously was helped sales-wise with access to the Halo 3 beta (it's why I mostly bought it - after a friend said it was a decent game).
343i would have to assume that people buying Halo 4 already plan on buying CEA, so there might not be as much incentive to put beta access into that game.
