Missing out on ME2? ME2 had the same issues that DA2 is having... missing elements from the first... streamlined EVERYTHING... loss of customization/classes...
It's just a let down when the first of each game was SPECTACULAR, and the second was almost a completely different game (mechanically) just within the same setting.
Don't get me wrong - I loved the story of Mass Effect 2, but it lost everything about the first that made it a unique game.
No one deserves anything...
Every IP, every game needs to prove itself to it's consoles core audience... hype itself won't equate to a good game (HAZE effect).

The only way this works is if they use Battlefield 3 as the first title, and introduce "Vietnam" type DLC, and not a entirely new game.
EA - if this is true, have you NOT payed attention these last few years? The people who buy your games PLAY THEM FOR YEARS - how about you support those games, but get us for the same amount of money through DLC or other additional means - just don't make all new games every two years.

I love collectors editions that have art books, or posters, or other collectibles (go figure) but they know that people will pay a premium for IN GAME stuff, that the collectible stuff has started sucking as of late, and the in game drivel isn't worth the extra $$...
This CE looks decent, but not excellent. I'll wait to see more detailed versions of the CE stuff to make up my mind.

They went from screen to handheld quite a few times... that's a new console. The graphics on the television were HD... that's a new console.

Not defending the peripheral, but it does have some cool games for my kids while I play the regular core games (mostly third party, but still).
Not mad at all about the lack of core games thus far - the Ghost Recon demo looked promising - needs a better movement system, instead of the "rails" system employed by Fable and Star Wars.
That's because it's pretty much just Halo: CE as an add-on for Halo Reach... the 7 multiplayer maps will be integrated into Halo Reach multiplayer (Much like ODST held a disc for Halo 3 multiplayer...)
Multiplayer will look like Halo Reach, same with Firefight.

Everything was as everyone assumed... lots of Kinect, a few multiplats, a few exclusives, Gears, and Halo.
Same formula as last year, and the previous 4 years sans Kinect.

Agreed - but this sets the precedent for other game companies to develop similar style systems - but then take it that next step further.
I stopped playing Halo 3 when I COULDN'T play certain gametypes because I didn't have the DLC that they "required" you to have.
This isn't the end of the downward spiral of companies milking us gamers... it's like the middle. They will keep "inventing" new schemes to get our money, until...
