What do you mean by "blinking"?
I thought there was a glitch when I first entered the subway - I kept getting white and red flashes on my screen (are those the "blinking" you speaks ofs?) which just turned out to be guys scoping me (right before getting my head shot to pieces...)
Yeah, they're on Neutrino Standard Time - it's faster than light, so they needed to add an extra hour.

The graphics aren't much better than Bad Company 1. I know it's in Beta, but still - it doesn't look as good as BFBC2... which it totally should, and I hope it will be on release day. I'll probably play it regardless, but I just hope that the graphical code for this beta is very old.

No - it varies by game. Mass Effect 2 was brighter on 360, but "deeper" colored (only way I can explain it) on PS3.
I dunno - I'm not really impressed with either version, but I'll be getting it anyway - probably on 360, because that's where all my friends will be playing. Plus, I prefer the 360 controller for shooters.
I know it's over a day old now, but couldn't it also be PSVita related? If we were to get all of those game on the Vita... drools.
So I looked it up - there WAS a left side view in Gears 2, but it was a glitch, and not intended to be in the game.
It also gave the shooter an advantage, because it made their character appear (to others) as still being within right hand shot.
It should be something we can just "flip a switch" for - options menu or something. I wouldn't even care if they just "mirrored" the character, without correcting writing, scars or whatever. ...

Because usually journalists/reviewers aren't dumb enough to run into the same building, and go close quarters with the same guy who gibbed them 4 times already with the SOS, thinking that this time it'll be different.

I just ignore people who complain about this kind of stuff - they want the game to be exactly like the game before it - you had the same thing with Halo 3 and Halo: Reach with the AAs and DMR vs BR.
People are so dense sometimes - if you want Gears 3 to be a carbon copy of Gears 2... you should have sold your copy, and put Gears 2 back in the console.

You can do that while in cover, but I never remember being able to do "lefty" view while roadie running or walking...
I love that they added a currency type system to it. It adds that extra "awesome" to the mode, and allows for alllll sorts of strategy - Do I risk my 12.5K on that silverback with the boss wave coming up, or do I fortify everything, get sentries, turrets and dummies?

Agreed, but I wish they didn't nerf the crap out of it... it needs to be somewhere between what it is now, and what it was in the beta.
You never even know in MP when someone leaves if you don't watch the scrolling words... it just fills the spot in with a bot (at least the quick match games do... haven't played ranked).

I can't think of anything else that would incorporate those characters - unless MAYBE it was an ad-teaser for the 3D television bundle (maybe with a game or 3?) Purely speculation on my end however.
