What scam? The prices are from KMART's site. Furthermore, two of my local stores had several of the listed games in stock.
@Rock-Lee I understand the tech and I agree with your point wholeheartedly. It's not a knock against Sony for a lack of originality, and I think they are more than up to the task with their current PS Now capabilities.
However, the base concept is the same, and for Xbox to cut sharing out of the picture and then reinstate it still would make the company seem unsure of themselves. After all, they've done numerous things since November to fall more in line with Sony...
Well, to be fair this is one of the features Microsoft promised then abandoned after the initial reaction to the Xbox One's draconian DRM issues revealed last May. For them to change their perspective again, while sensible, would make them seem even more unsure of their current position than people already see them.
I was such a fiend for the NES original. Great game, and few companies could put the NES' chip to work quite like SUNSOFT..
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter really has my attention. Can't wait to see what the finished product is all about.
The system isn't even a year old yet. How is this necessary?
The retail version was listed by retailers in May, however this is the first time Telltale has confirmed the collection's release.
Such a great series. I'd kill to see Sega resurrect Shining Force with the Valkyria Chronicles engine.
Times sure have changed. Back in the 16 and 32 bit eras that logo was the gold standard.
I loved the 16-bit iterations of this forgotten series. Nothing beats flying over the rolling sand dunes of Iraq or the White House rose garden, hurling hellfire missiles and taking out the bad guys in the name of 'murica.
It's a shame the 32-bit era releases seemed to lose something with their faster pacing and more action oriented design. They just didn't resonate with me the same way the more methodically paced original trilogy did.
That would be nice, wouldn't it?
Quite a few, but these games have never been this cheap.
It absolutely is. Not only that, but now is the perfect time to pick up the game on the cheap before the upcoming releases of Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.
I didn't disagree with you- my comment was directly in reference to the theme of the article.
I don't think it's an issue of not congratulating Nintendo- the game looks fantastic. Splatoon just isn't the kind of game I can imagine people plunking down the price of a console for.
Nintendo had a fantastic showing this E3 for Nintendo diehards- those who likely already own a Wii U- but many of those games aren't the kind of titles that get people out the door to adopt a new console.
Sure, it's beta, but the game is only a few months away from release. I hate to say it, but the finished product isn't going to look much better.
Interesting, because I personally thought the PS4 beta looked bland and lifeless compared to BF4, with some seriously bland textures and unimpressive cityscapes.
I couldn't agree more. It's refreshing to see an E3 that, with exception of Sony TV's presentation, was largely about what we'll have in our mitts over the next 12 months without the saber rattling and fake corporate hurrah that usually dominates these events.
Definitely can't remember the last time I was this genuinely satisfied with what E3 had to offer.
You're dead on with your assessment, and it makes perfect sense for Sega to influence exclusivity across platforms to try to entice people to try both versions of the game.
I can understand the frustration of fans, evidently Sticks will be playing a slightly different role in the Wii U version of the game. It'll be interesting to see the differences between both versions of Sonic Boom.
I don't see how it's pulling a fast one on anyone. More choices are fine by me, it's not like Reggie is busting in people's doors, kneecapping anyone in an effort to strong arm them out of their money. For anyone who doesn't already on a system or just enjoys collecting a wide variety of LE hardware, more selection is a plus.
