In what way is Microsoft a monopoly in gaming? In what way is Microsoft a monopoly in anything anymore? Most time on computers is spent on phones and that is going to get more slanted even after covid ends because ARM has closed the power gap. And now they're adding radeon graphics to phone chips. Apple and Google control phones. Microsoft definitely doesn't have a monopoly in gaming. Can one of you guys explain the whole monopoly thing.

It's called innovation. Old tech is often given new abilities after years on the market. It's just rare for that to happen when they are still in major use. Experts sometimes mention wishing they knew procedures during a products heyday that would have given it so much more ability.
Which means if other APIs only do one at a time this is an innovative option by Microsoft has done that they won't get credit for. And it's something that makes the difference in raw speeds of the two consoles irrelevant.

Bethesda physical disc will be exclusively available on Xbox and PC. Game Pass will become available on all other platforms. If others want Bethesda games they will have to use Game Pass. Game Pass will be available through browsers.
