But whatever it looks like now shouldn't be taken as a the look of the finished product. They are usually not on any real time schedule and even if they themselves gave a release date I would take it as rumor. They will take as much time as needed to get the graphics up to par.

The reality is we don't know how long the missions are as Pyschotica said. It could be six overarching themes with several objectives each for eighteen actual missions. And if it last eight to ten hours it falls in line with what most are doing. There are some single player only games with only ten or twelve hours. The key for Battlefield is MP. Sega, Apple and Amazon have been rumored to be working on consoles. So while Microsoft is most likely the third, it could be one of the others or even a second Nintendo handheld device. The technological changes that have taken place with efficiency of power per watt and power use will allow Nintendo to have all of the advantages of a slim model with none of the legacy to hold it back. It's on PC as well. It's easily ported over. Many of these small developers will come to regret making these types of decisions later on. Unless Sony gave them financial support, not publishing to an additional twenty million people is a mistake. If the game flops, those additional sales might be the difference between the ability to make your next game and bankruptcy. If money constraints were truly that bad they would have focused on PC alone.
This rumor makes zero sense. The chip on the PS3 was different. The 360 different. The One and PS4 different.
