I tried that when it first launched. Hated it. Want Age and that ain't it.

Wow, Lionhead went from being part of Microsoft and being just another one of those developers that produces nothing Sony fans would want to being incredibly valuable and quality developers cause Sony is attached to them.

There is no doubt they are talented individuals. And there is no doubt Sony owns some -itches cause some of their fans have no clue what they think personally. Or have just never been capable of original thought.

I play some mobile games. None compare to AoE.

I think a lot of people don't understand that a studio isn't a name, it's usually a handful of key people. Microsoft has closed studios before and formed new ones. Ensemble is gone but there is a new Halo Wars coming this year. Even with a two year development cycle that means a team was formed some time ago.

When Molyneax left Lionhead that was a blow to that developer. Hate him if you like, he was the creative mind behind what they did. Plus there seems to be...

Didn't Microsoft close a bunch of studios a few years ago? Then went and created several. If E3 sees several new titles and new studios introduced will Ponies continue to say Xbox is going away?

Of course they will. It's what they do.

Ponies talked about milking, now Xbox gets more new IP and its dying. Expect more new IP this summer. Start writing your silly articles now to get out front in sheep hits for your site.

One thing I find interesting is he says I'm not going to use a screwdriver and we won't include a screwdriver in every Xbox. Given Phil's wordplay sometimes like recently with Fable, it's still conceivable that you can take the console to Best Buy and have a modular part switched out. Games generate a lot of sales and good traffic for stores like Best Buy. A new APU sold cheaply for $150 but costing $80 to manufacture leaves a lot of potential profit. That allows Microsoft to ...

Overlord, read those articles. First let me address a very simple idea when it comes to many things in life. Especially when you're talking about the media and investing. Many people, most really, have no clue what they're talking about or they are manipulating you.

Before the greatest world market collapse in history what were politicians, analysts and the media all saying. The market is fine. Strong. Buy, buy, buy. Some were looking to fleece you, some were just c...

I'm going to actually read his article. But given the source I'm sure it's wrong. I doubt he has any understanding of market manipulation and is completely shocked every time it crashes. He probably believed the government when they said the the fundamentals of our economy are fine. Oh well, the 1% gotta get their riches from somebody.

Ok, read it. This writer fits in the other category of analyst, clueless. But at least kinda honest about it because he admits ...

@Generic are you saying parts of companies can just decide we don't care that you bought us we don't want to be part of the parent company anymore we're leaving. I didn't know that was possible. I bet there isn't a company in the world that knew that was possible. You, my friend, are a truly powerful attorney.

Remember the good old days when fanboys talked about franchises being milked. Welcome to the new days where canceling one means the company is going to stop making consoles. But that's only for Microsoft.

Even more than no proof when he had conversations on Twitter with developers using it he realized he didn't actually know that much about it. His main contention about being a walled garden was shot down when a developer told him one of the first things Windows does is explains how to do exactly what Sweeny says was so hard to figure out. It walks you through it.

I think the technical know how left with Cliff Blazenski.

The saddest thing about the lack of logic with the morons that think like that is they start off by saying now there is no need to buy an Xbox One. They can just get a PC.

So they're saying they want to play Xbox exclusives but hate Xbox too much to buy one. Which is an improvement over the Xbox doesn't have anything I'm interested in bs. But they're so incredibly stupid and feeble minded that they are willing to spend $1000 to hit 1080/60(since nothing els...

Things cost more in Australia because everything has to be imported. Except giant spiders. Ask a Hawaiian or Japanese about the expense of living on an island away from everything else. Has it good and bad points. Australia suffers more because it is a industrialized continent thousands of miles away from the rest of the industrialized world. If I remember right, the datacenter Microsoft is or did build in Australia is the first major datacenter over there. Most things are imported in volume ...

I'm not sure about the rest of the world but I know Americans are a huge part of the problem. Far too many of us in gaming and just about everything else can no longer be honest about things. We pick a side and deny the existence of anything that has a hint of being better. Look at our politics. Someone can be extremely racist and lead one of the major parties. Someone running for president of one of the most powerful nations in the world can't be so ignorant as to refer to Latinos as...

Exactly. The same people who wouldn't pay $600 for a PS3 are now willing to spend $500 on a VR headset. Yeah, right. The usual vocal minority. Sony felt the price of the PS3 held it back. Sony celebrated when they heard Xbox One would be $500. Now we are to believe they will celebrate a $500 peripheral.

Sony will subsidize PSVR. It will most likely launch at $399. But that will be at a loss. Which means they will not lower the price of the PS4...

Accessibility will change soon. The cost of a VR PC will come down with the next GPUs. AMD is believed to be launching a sub-300 dollar GPU soon. That will change quickly.
