I predict the cost of making the Xbox Anaconda will be around $650 or more with a launch price of $500. If you're one of those fanboys that believes on PC means it's not exclusive you're going to have an exploded head or are going to be doing a lot of backtracking over the next few years. I think what they are doing with the acquisitions is guaranteeing content for when almost everything is cloud based. At that point consoles won't matter because you're playing on any platform. Once that's the case software does count and exclusives will actually matter. In the past a bunch of exclusives that lost money only mattered to the vocal minority. Going forward with open install bases those losers can still be profitable with a large diverse audience.

Ray tracing will be required next generation. This machine will struggle to compete with the new xbox and playstation.
Nintendo has IP and a legacy to stand on. Any expectations for a company like Google will be high end. They seem to be aiming for a 1080p/60 market. That's fine for casual gamers. But the mark for next generation will be 4k/60 with ray tracing. Those cards can do the ray tracing but we're looking at downgrades offline that aren't going to be overcome in the eyes of the consumer with a new product.
Gaming is not an area where you try to compete on the cheap.
