Pastors need to concentrate on keeping their hands off of children. Get back to casting stones when you can do that. Everyone has an excuse for why they didn't do their job. Some people will do wrong no matter what. But far more often it is a lack of parenting that leads people down the wrong road. And that stems from the inability for too many to think for themselves. Dump the pastors and experts and do your own thinking.

If they have so little talent that they have to rip off someone else's work for the trailer, I wouldn't trust spending money for the movie.

Why add it to their service when they can wait a little longer and buy it cheap when you go bankrupt.

Nobody will be going with off the shelf parts. Sony will probably go with a Modified Cell with 10-12 cores. MS will probably go with a modified Power8 CPU similar to what they have now but with a lot of new tech like 8 four thread cores. MS will also probably use another custom GPU based on ATI's upcoming architecture. But like Mad Jedi said, they will pay far less than we would in a store or online. And most likely MS will use a CPU/GPU on one die again to cut cost drastically. Both Sony...

@Zerocrossing

Actually it depends on the size of your company. If you're small, you go with the 360 and port to the PS3 or go 360 exclusive. If you're a big company, you have options.

It will be a lot more powerful than both the 360 and the PS3.

@bwazy

That is usually how the companies measure success. Seems like a decent way to judge it if you plan to stay in business.

This will make a difference. But Microsoft will just add Kinect to the $299 360 to counter. If that's not enough they will drop another $50 after Christmas. They have more room to play with than Sony. Plus Kinect isn't as expensive as many think. If MS includes Kinect with the 4GB for $199-229, it might keep them in front in the US. But I think Sony will still be hard to beat in Europe and Japan is a given.

But both MS and Sony need price cuts. The Wii U is going to t...

If this was or is a part of live TV it would be fine. The commercials are going to be there anyway. This would make me less likely to skip all of them with a DVR. just most of them. But I would think they could go a little further with this to make it really interesting and more likely to work. The reminder feature is really nice though. That is the one that I would use for sure. If only there was another reason to buy Kinect.

I will say the $100 gift cards being offered by ...

I would think MS would block PSV use because they are competing directly with them. Windows phones are becoming direct competition in the mobile market as they get more powerful. The Tegra 3 will be out in two months and that runs PC games and will be in phones. Blocking Skype means one more person might consider a Windows phone.

Bull,

Even though it was said Peter Moore left MS. He was forced out. The whole RRoD thing was blamed on him. He paid with his job.

Obviously there still people out there that don't understand why MS dropped the original Xbox. To make it easy for those I will put it to you like this. If the Xbox was still around, it would still cost MS more per console to make than it does for them to make the 360 now. Nvidia and Intel refused to give them price breaks. They own the major parts of the 360. That is why it is very profitable for them and that is why it will continue to get support. And opening it to new markets is the r...

@Wizziokid

MS has made more from DD than they have for subscriptions on Live the last couple of years. Free MMOs usually make their money from selling small items. Since MS already gets a subscription fee to cover the cost of the network and more. Those little sales will increase their revenue. By a ton. It would be a smart move.

I think the Wii U will be inferior to the PS4/Xbox 720, but it will blow the PS3 and 360 out of the water. One thing I have read from a few sources is that the R700 is the basis for the GPU and the Power7 for the CPU. If that is right and they do plan to use 4gb of RAM, it will kill the current generation. The R700 was a huge leap over what is in the two current consoles. Same for the CPUs in the current consoles. Wii U should be twice as good on the conservative side. Three or four times ma...

@ Infernostew

I think you're making the mistake most people do when looking at something. You're looking at it as it is today as opposed to what it can be. MS could improve the ability of Skype and expand markets that don't use it as much as they should. As fuel prices continue to rise, teleconferencing will become more important. Also look at the area of real-time reporting. MS could allow high quality feeds in places with breaking news. That footage is always us...

A lot of people are celebrating this if it's true. But if it is true, doesn't it disturb you that another hacker group was able to find these guys and the governments and billion dollar corporations of the world couldn't do anything. If they are "fake" hackers. I would hate to see what will happen when a "real" group of hackers decides to go after someone.

I would bet this person has nothing or little to do with the main attacks. I would think the people involved are smart enough not to get caught. One thing that I have heard over the last few months from listening to Julian Assange interviews is about the laws of certain countries when it comes to the internet. It seems that the servers of certain countries strip packets of their identification info as they pass them along in accordance with their Constitution. I would think an experienced hac...

I agree that they will remain behind the technology curve. The question is will it matter. The Wii U will have enough power to make BF3 look the the PC version. Do they really need more than that. I think if they use the new controller the proper way, it won't matter.

Jet I'm not sure many of those people will run out and buy a Wii U. From many of the people I've talked to, they abandoned their Wii years ago and rarely, if ever, go back. It a fool me once situation unless Nintendo comes up with something that makes that new controller a must have item. I think it does have uses for some hardcore games. Mainly shooters, RTSs and RPGs. But that isn't the market that made the Wii sell so well. Most of those people have probably moved on to their c...

As we approach the point where a tablet can have desktop power, the tablets and portables will take over. And Apple is a major player in that market. But so is Google. If they come up with a real controller, they could take over. Tegra 3(Kal-El) is running full blown PC games on a tablet and also runs 1440p video. Tegra 4 is already in the works. Five years from now there won't be a difference in what you get on a home console and what you get from a tablet. So there is no reason to think...

This might be what happens when a company runs their own servers and ask you to pay compared to when you want a multi-million dollar service for free.
