If the wiiu sales showed how many nintendo fans there is, then who bought the 3ds? Xbox fans?
I could see them doing a diamond and pearl vc with new features. I think the game they are working on is probably a 3rd version of the sun/moon series.
Monster hunter on the switch with lan play would be dope.
I don't think you know what a gimmick is. If the gimmick of your product is your product that is a good thing, that means your product sells itself. If you hate the switch so much why do you care?
Unless Nintendo allows it to, no.
How was it taken hostage by Nintendo when no one else wanted to make it so Nintendo funded the game and helped with development? Without Nintendo there would be no bayo 2 and maybe even a bayo franchise anymore.
Nintendo owns the rights to bayo 2, so I doubt that will happen.
@edmix
Sega owns the ip but nintendo owns the rights to bayo 2 and it can't be remade for other consoles without their permission.
@edmix
And it took forever to reach that on the ps3/360 who had a combined install base of over 80 million when the game came out. What's your point?
How is it a downgrade when the wiiu version of the first one ran better than the ps3/360 version? Are you saying that the bayo 2 was a downgrade? That would make no sense since 2 ran better than 1 and the only console that it was on was the wiiu. If bayo 3 is only on the switch, how would it be downgraded?
The game will most likely be a switch exclusive and I doubt bayo 2 is going to ever be on any non nintendo console. I would also love a wonderful 102 though.
I doubt this will actually happen.
Bomberman apparently runs at 60fps now because of the patch and now there's supposed to be less lag online too.
If you're talking about all consoles then the ds won last gen with the wii coming in second place.
Nier isn't a exclusive, but I agree this whole "exclusives don't matter/exclusives don't sell" is complete bullshit.
@Gridknac
Gamestop always does this, they did it with the ps4 too.

It's smarter to take it away when there is still hype for it, so that you can make another one the next holiday season and bring even more attention to your brand. Imagine the amount of hype there will be when Nintendo announces the snes mini this holiday season. If you have plans to release another version of a product, you don't want to use up all the hype around it because that would kill the device faster.
@multiconsolegamer
There isn't any ill will going towards the nintendo brand because of the nes mini. Discontinuing a console that wasn't meant to be a permanent product and one that doesn't make the company a lot of money is the smart thing to do. The mini was nothing but a emulation machine. They didn't alienate anyone. Some products don't have long availability time and everyone doesn't get them, that's normal for some products. That doesn't hurt th...
The whole 2 million wasn't allocated to preorders. Every store had a lot of consoles for walk-ins, which was pretty cool.
In Japan they sell out of whatever they have stock, but Nintendo is planning on having more stock for Mario kart so the numbers should be bigger.
