What the fuck are you talking about? The wiiu had a ton of stock available since launch day, it's just no one wanted it. This false scarcity shit needs to stop. Gamers have to stop being so stupid and get a original idea instead of parroting stupid shit like this. Yeah the switch has false scarcity that's why it sold nearly 3 million consoles its first month. That's more than what the ps4/x1 had available, so do those companies also do false scarcity? Or is it that when popular ne...
The craziest thing about mario kart is that it has already outsold zelda on amazon.
@tfxgod
Stop with the artificial demand bullshit. If the wii lived on its artificial demand it wouldn't have sold over 100 million consoles. When the wii released Nintendo didn't have the supply for the demand because it was the first console of its kind and they didn't know if it'd be successful. Afterwards they manufactured more and met the demand that's why the wii outsold both the ps3 and 360 by 20 million consoles and won the generation.
@tfxgod
The wiiu never sold out. Their was stock everywhere when the console came out. Hell the switches first month sold more than the wiiu's first year. No one thought the wii was going to be huge and Nintendo had to try to catch up to demand. There is no false demand with the switch. That's just a argument that stupid gamers parrot. The switch sold 2.74 million consoles in its first month which is more than the ps4/x1. There has been restocks nearly every week since the c...
Honestly IMO vr is just too cumbersome for it to be a major-mainstream success. I also never got the whole "I don't like this console so I'm going to go to the articles and make shit up about it" thing that goes on in this websites comment section. If you don't like something why not just ignore it.
@TFxGod
The second shipment of the switch came about a week or so after the console came out. The stack from yesterday were for people that bought it online yesterday so they could pick it up at the store. Also Nintendo's audience on their consoles are mostly people from 16-38 years old. You don't even make any sense. If you don't like Nintendo just ignore their articles instead of making things up. By the way the switch is not a tablet it's a gaming console.
Actually today they restocked the switch because of the launch of Mario Kart.
There were at least 50 of them behind the counter in my Bestbuy that were waiting for in store pickups. There was stock everywhere today but they are already gone.
There were a ton of them everywhere today but they sold out in a few hours. Hopefully there will be another shipment next week.
The majority of people won't have that problem but I suggest you get a tempered glass screen protector because you're going to take it around your house and outside. It's better to be safe than sorry.
That's one of stupidest things anyone can say. That's like saying subtract the number of people that bought the ps4 and you'll have the real ps4 sales numbers. That makes no sense.
In the first month the ps4 sold about 2.1 million.
also Xenoblade chronicles 2 and sonic
I think it's going to sell very well especially when you consider that Mario Kart 8 has been the best selling game on amazon for the last month or so. A lot of people that bought a 3ds but were never interested in the wiiu are going to get the switch for this game.
@edmix
The reason why he would use the ds as a reference is because the 3ds was the successor to the second highest selling console of all time and when a successor to a popular product comes out consumers tend to get hyped about it because it's the new version of a product they loved. That's why the 3ds sold so much when it first came out even though it was $250 with not many games. That's why people are hyped about the galaxy 8 because they had the s7 and they really li...
The 3ds was the successor to the second highest selling console of all time. In the first year the 3ds sold off of the ds name alone.
@xanderZane
They announced the sales of the switch for the quarter ending on March 31st. With the sales in april the switch is definitely over 3 million by now.
Generations are so foggy now. The Scorpio seems to have nothing to do with the xbox one but m$ is making it a upgrade console anyway. The Switch is most likely above 3 million by now considering Nintendo has had restocks almost every week and they sell out in minutes.
Nintendo doesn't sell their consoles at a lost and the wii made them a shit ton of money. If you didn't notice the ds also sold 40 million more consoles than the wii did. Everyone knows Nintendo made billions of dollars off of the wii what are you talking about?
Exactly. IIRC it took the wiiu a year to sell through the launch stock for the console.
