Lack of bandwidth. It’s why you have games like Fe only running 1200 something p on ps4 pro and native 4k on Xbox One X. And the resolution is boosted over the base ps4
They have done stuff with the pro. Boosted visual settings. It just can’t keep up the resolution along with the increased settings.
I swear, fanboys are ridiculous. I’ve owned only a PS4 since the current gen and got a PS4 at launch. Then, I got the Xbox One X for Christmas for the multiplatform games and am really only using the PS4 pro now for exclusives and older games that never got patched. But I have both systems so I’ve only played Fortnite on Xbox One X since that’s by and far the best console version of the game. I got A Way Out on Xbox because it’s xbox one x enhanced and as soon as I finished that, I went on to...
I get more engaged by a good story in a video game than a movie because it’s interactive. Sorry to break it to you
The game doesn’t run well on the Xbox One X either, which is more powerful than the PS4 pro. Stop being a fanboy.
Stop trying to push a narrative. I finished this game 2 weeks ago and the editor was slow with editing it, leaving it sitting for days. Sea of Thieves wasn’t even a thought in my mind while I was playing Recore or writing the review.
It’s a shock, I know, but people are allowed to like games.
$30*
But we didn’t know this soon. From Japanese original release to localization, it’s only 8 months. That’s incredibly fast for a Yakuza game.
Probably because it’s more intensive and took more work???? It runs on the current gen Yakuza 6 engine as opposed to the last gen Yakuza 5 engine.
I’m not saying Game Pass would replace owning games entirely. Im saying game pass could possibly lead to physical releases for microsoft’s Major games no longer happening and either you get them through game pass or you buy them, buy digitally only which is a future I don’t want.
I think Game Pass is fine for people that want it, but I don’t want it to overshadow physical for Microsoft’s purposes. I paid for a physical copy of Sea of Thieves for a reason. And thankfully, so far at least, it seems like Microsoft isn’t making Game Pass replace anything as State of Decay 2, also part of the Game Pass, has a physical release as well.
But the whole “shtick” of the switch is that each player can have fun playing a game together with one side of the joycon. That’s part of why they’re detachable. So that one person uses one joy con and the other uses another. One joycon does not have enough inputs to play a proper game like this.
It’s a $30 game. We routinely see $60 games with single player campaigns half the length of this and a tacked on multiplayer. And we also see indie games for around the same price or $5-10 less at half the length.
They were pretty bare on the pro and Xbox zone X enhancements. I want to know if there will be more than just the pro’s uncapped framerate and the One X’s uncapped framerate and higher resolution.
It’s native 4K on the PS4 Pro so it’ll probably be the same deal on the Xbox One X
PlayStation came out in 1995. It is 2018. It’s been 23 years. If that’s not retro, I don’t know what is.!
There are plenty of good older games. The industry pre PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 was filled with much more creativity than the industry now. Sure, there are less bad games now in the sense that though people crap on all triple A games, the truth is they’re usually mediocre.
Very few modern games are ever as bad as the worst of the pre-3D games or even the first generation of 3D gaming and let’s not even get started on the 90’s FMV craze, but on the flip side, the industry ...
Both mid-gen consoles could handle the collection at Native 4K along with overkill Anti-Aliasing. The collection was already 1080p last gen so the PS4 and Xbox One are not even close to breaking a sweat with this collection also considering the games always ran at 60fps.
I still think it’s baffling that Capcom supports 4K for Xbox One X and PS4 Pro on the Okami remaster, a niche franchise compared to DMC, but one of capcom’s classics with more name recognition doesn’t get the 4K support???
An 80 is mediocre to you??)
