No matter how much the guy blogging was trying to thrown in his sarcasm and play down the Sony conference he failed. Sony had an absolutely stunning keynote regardless of what anyone says. Excellent presentations, backing of big industry icons, star power, excellent news for current and future products and some eye candy for the audience in attendance as well. All in all an excellent conference.
Sony had an excellent keynote with some big names backing them as well. They introduced and hinted at some cool new products and technologies as well. I am still excited about the 90% of Sony products will be internet ready and can also connect to eachother. That is just way too cool.
I am actually wanting a new alarm clock right now. Not to mention that the interconnectivity that Sony is putting into most of its' devices, 90 percent, is really awesome. Things are looking up for Sony in 2009 not only from the gaming front but for all of their product lines. Good times ahead.

Simply because Aaron Greenberg has been such an absolute ass about things it's about time Sony stopped turning the other cheek and started using a baseball bat. As for the shot at Nintendo I think it is less of a burn but still showing that the Wii's lack of overall included/available features. In any case it's about time Sony unmuzzled the dogs and let them go to work.

Is that if it is indeed real, Sony will just donwload it and patch it in a firmware update. Even funnier is that to play online just require the latest firmware which would void the whole thing after it's patched. End of problem.
How bad the game translates to the PSP it has the word "GUNDAM" in it. Hell it could be poop in a box the shape of a Gundam and it would sell like mad in Japan. Folks have an unhealthy fascination with big robots over there in the land of the rising sun.

I don't know if you realize that not only is it Halo without Master Chief it is Halo without FPS. This is a RTS (Real Time Strategy) game NOT a FPS. This is where the problem is going to be with younger kids. They are going to see "HALO" and essentially it is HALO without the HALO they are expecting.
Wow... ok. This is JUST Japan not EU or NA. 207k for one week (3 days actually) and 80k - 85k (preliminary numbers) for the following is damned impressive in Japan for any game ESPECIALLY a new IP. In Japan alone I see this game selling 450K or so overall. When it is localized and released in other territories it will sell about 1.5 - 1.7 million overall. Slow down there! The Dreamcast while not selling like hotcakes was one of my favorite consoles EVER next to the Playstation line and Genesis.
