Funny thing is as ridiculous as some of his posts are they hit home. Granted the sarcasm runs deep but because of this he has become a voice of reason. He goes to show just how silly biased media, PR people, whomever sound when they spew.
PS3 most of the time but occasionally the Wii. As for mobile gaming primarily the PSP and once in a while the DS. I even break out some PS2 games on the PS3 now and then that I loved to play.
Linux/BSD, etc... have been the only operating systems I have used in the past 18 years. I have tried Windows from 3.10 all the way to the Windows 7 Beta and I find them all to be counter intuitive and counter productive. All MS operating systems have a habit of "knowing" whats best for the end user and won't allow any other option unless you apply reg hacks, etc... This I find unacceptable and intolerable. Not only that but Windows inherent insecurities due to the dependence of ...

Final Fantasy Dissidia and some umpteenth iteration of a Gundam game.
Here's hoping that MS cans the Zune once and for all. It would be the smartest thing they did since the rewrite of Vista AKA Windows 7 and the canning of MS BOB.
Looks as if things are calming down a bit after the holiday rush. Worldwide the XBox 360 sold approx. 340k and PS3 about 280k. No more 2:1 sales margins and starting to get back to the few thousand difference it used to be. Seeing this so early in the year I am wondering how the rest of the year will play out with Sony bringing out some of its' bigger IPs? Interesting though.
P.S. WOW @ the PSP sales.
"Two million ps3= more sales Duh!"
Hmmmm... According to XBox fanboys that's not a valid reason when PS3 fanboys use it to compare multiplat sales. I just love N4G, really I do. The hypocrisy runs so deep it isn't even funny.
Just a pathetic attempt at trying to make money for nothing.
This is why software patents should be abolished. Strangely enough both of those patents look really similar to stuff pre-existing the patents. A.K.A. the "su" and "sudo" commands in Unix AND the MD5 Checksum to verify a files' integrity. Just plain lame.
As much as I would like it I will chalk this up to "pipe dream".
OK. It's a nifty gadget and the big brother iPhone can make phone calls and browse the web via 3G networks. It is in no way a handheld gaming device. The Nintendo DS and PSP have that locked down in spades. People so have to lay off the Apple kool-aid.
I can see people dodging the money shot now...
OK, the PS made me chuckle.
I have been playing it since day 2 and granted the first few days were rough while they were ironing out the backend servers. After that though the game has worked very well with minimal lag. Have only been disconnected twice and one lockup. It is a fun game with reall good controls as well.
Personally I have no problem with it as what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Hell I think they should put it on the PS3 boxes as a comparison chart kinda like nutritional info on food.
Considering that total sales so far is 275k. By the end of the month it should hit about 350k which is a nice solid number.
To all the folks who think Sony did something horrible or shocking. Just look up anything that Aaron Greenberg, Robbie Bach or any other MS spin doctor had to say over this past year about the PS3. Everyone rallied to Microsoft's side when they bashed and belittled but when Sony has a go at them it's "OMGWTFBBQ LAME!" Hypocrites everywhere.
This article is an excellent comedy piece! Please send more! I can't stop laughing. Well at least I hope it is a comedy piece, otherwise the author of the article is a numbnut.
Ubuntu Linux is my distro of choice since it came out and before Ubuntu it was Slackware. BSD I have running on my servers and I could never be happier. Then there is the big iron at work and they are running Solaris so it's one big happy *nix family. I am pushing my boss now for a Macbook Pro :) Gotta have the whole family under one roof you know.
