I think the "intimacy" of L4D is where it draws its appeal. The problem I would see with MAG is getting your team to work together and not just having everyone go commando.
Supreme Commander was amazing and still is. They're changing ALLOT of the game though to speed it up (my average time with an 8 player multiplayer match was between 3 and 4 hours!) and bring it down from soley being for the strategy hardcore. Because of that, however, I would say pick up the first one because the second will be a different experience so it wont replace the first one like many sequels do. PS you can pick it up for 360 but it's pretty butchered if you ask me...

Why? I mean it's been over 5 years since the 360 announcement. And on top of that would people rather pay $300 for a PS3 (hopefuly by next year it will be) or $300 for an xbox 720 (if they come out with 2 skus like last time one at $300 the other $400)?

In all honesty I don't think exclusive games are MS biggest concern business wise at the moment. As long as Multi-plats sell as good on the 360 as the PS3 that means their not loosing ground. And with Modern Warefare 2 having a very good possibility for trumping Halo 3s records just on the Xbox alone they are going to be focusing on making people think there's something better about the 360 version. The problem the PS3 may be facing is the fact that MS might be readying a new console for 2010. Could you imagine a $300 PS3 going against a $300 Xbox 720? That's the problem with Sony's slow start. Now for all we know they may be readying their own launch. Blu-ray is in an outstanding position and the PSN is gaining ground everyday, two factors that will make or break the next PS. Off topic, Obama owning those "Big corporations" is called socialism and doesn't mesh well with a capitalist nation. And he has spent more money within 100 days than any other president has spent in the entirety of their terms. On topic, I'm glad people approved this. It isn't Sonys price drop, but hey, for people picking one up this month worldwide (over a hundredthousand I'd presume) this is a great way to save $10 or $20 dollars and spend it on movies or games.
