If you really like stealth games definitely play the first. I just beat it a few weeks ago to prepare for this game and it was a struggle to get through. Gameplay is very dated and drags alot with the walking sequences. It may be a better experience to watch a "movie" of it on yt. It's very easy though and you can beat it in 9 hours on the first play through. I'd have to say it comes down to whether or not someone was attached to the characters. A game that is centered around an emotional connection will be crap to those that dont feel it.
If I'm only speaking from my own personal experience, nothing comes close to mass effect 3 for me. Building relationships from the first game and carrying them over for years and finally coming to the end of my journey. I'm just really glad I was off the internet for 2 weeks after the game launched so I missed all the hate. Witcher 3 would be my second.
I absolutely recommend the second game as a great starting place. The game mechanics are similar enough it doesn't feel as badly dated as the first. There's just a lot of relationship building you will be missing out on if you skip.
The best thing about lewd games is they are not tethered to chinese censorship. They can make fun of things that main stream games cant touch. Plus it's kinda crazy that a game that involves sex is considered worse than one where you shoot up an airport. I'd rather have sex than kill people, just saying.
Price of admission is way to high for a face lifted game boy game. It may have been my first zelda game and it may have been one of my favorites, but nostalgia isnt getting my $60 this time.
Those statistics come from mother Jones which I'm unfamiliar with. Do you know their criteria for a mass shooting? Government statistics now state that it is any shooting where 4 or more are injured, so just trying to understand their criteria.
If you look at the list of mass shooters for 2019 white males are the minority of shooters. However they are the majority of high profile shooters.

There is only 1 victory in business and that's profit. They don't play the mental game called console wars gamers do. It would be better for everyone if consoles worked like PCs and you could play whatever you want on a system of your choice. I mean where would fortnite be if it was only on one console?
I've always held the theory that the x is a next gen console. Drop its price to $300 and launch a superior model at $400. If that is the case they would have a small established base before we even see new games.
I would love to know how many of those sold were after cutting the price.
Since the Ps2 every gen has been a back and forth between Sony and Microsoft. I see no reason that won't change unless new major players enter the market. I'm not discounting Nintendo, however they are in the luxurious spot of not having to directly compete with either. I say that because most everyone I know owns either a PS4 or Xone but have or want a Switch.
Once again a horrible pr nightmare that could have been avoided by a simple sentence like "Now that Diablo 3 is on switch we are only missing one platform, so to tied fans over till the big announcement here is a game to fill a small gap in the meantime." Trying to make it big and not what it is, a stop gap until 4, is what set this in motion. And then the cellphone comment was the worst possible comment to gamers possible, probably worked on the stockholders though.
I really hope the author reported this person. Otherwise it's no different than seeing someone abuse a child in public then turn and walk the other way. Too many people are only worried about "seeing" it and letting other people handle it.
I understand some people may be prudish when it comes to nudity, but there's no reason to want it censored for those of us who enjoy it or straight up don't care. Only "we" can make nudity "dirty".
Did a psychology paper on this subject during Jack Thompsons run against GTA. Every study I cited showed that violent people migrated towards violent games. Not one showed a rational person becoming violent without extreme life changes also being present (divorce, breakup, loss of a loved one, getting fired). The most important factor was always parenting. Lack of parenting is the greatest factor in predicting violence, but you cant say that to voters.
Statistics show violent crime is dropping. Been trending downwards for 20+ years. I remember the 90s, the news was nothing but shootings and riots. We may still have both but nothing like we did, nowadays they play up the drama to 11.
The hate is a joke. I only know of one person not getting the game because of the leaks. On the other hand I know a dozen buying a ps4 just to play this game after watching a few hours on twitch.
