Based on the logic of the 360 holding the game back, I guess we can all thank the PS2 for holding FF back because the original xbox was far and away more powerful... Why hasn't anyone mentioned that yet?
Not to offend but I think some people were expecting flashing lights and big bangs, this was like reading the first page of a book. The calm before the storm if you will. MS achieved the one thing that they set out for and that was to have people argue over wether it will actually look like that or not. Because everytime you mention the word Halo Reach that's only helping Bungie get more hits off search engines so go ahead and give them what they want. Personaly I would be thrilled if it look...
(Sigh) This is the same feeling I got when Obama won the nobel peace prize...
Polluted, people hate gamestop because it is the biggest symbol of the gaming community and it's a horrid place with horrid practices. I personaly had my district manager tell me to hold back reserves of Smash Bros. Brawl for "walk in" customers and to just tell them that Nintendo didn't send us enough copies to fill the reserves! That never happened before the merger (EB, Gamestop). It truely sickened me to my core that someone would encourage that, especialy someone in a position ...
"Estavillo says he suffers from depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, agoraphobia and Crohn’s disease." For the love of humanity take this man out of the gene pool!
FEAR 2 should have been on that list long before AC2 or L4D2, right beside Killzone 2 and Red Faction. I do love L4D2 but simply for the fact that it's what the first game should have been.
Anyone remember Resident Evil? You got a rocket launcher for beating it in under 2 hours...
Uncharted and Batman are the only ones that should be on that list. Take ODST off and add Halo Wars, it at least did something for consoles that has never been done successfully before. I would also add Red Faction for so many reasons. So my list in no particular order:
- Red Faction
- Halo Wars
- Uncharted
- Batman
? MW2
? L4D2
^ agreed
Since I figure I might be one of the few who are familiar with NVG (I sell them) I can tell you a little bit. For under $100, which is what I'm guessing these go for, you get Gen 1 tech. It's like looking through a green fishbowl and if you move with them on you'll get motion sick (trust me on that). They should work but just be a little disorienting, so like one guy said above; it'll be a fun throw around toy just to say you have them (no I'm not spending $150 for this if your wondering).
All I'm saying is, some people payed $60 for Legendary... When you consider it comes with almost 3 times as many MP maps as H3, half the campaign, and 10 firefight levels it adds up to enough for me. Imagine if you will they launch ODST at $40 with only 2 or 3 firefight levels then charge $10 for every 3 you want to add. The way I see it they just threw all the planned DLC into the package so we can move on once Reach comes out withought having to worry about more Halo 3 DLC.
For everyone complaining about the 9.3, they haven't reviewed the MP yet. So look at the SP as a 9.3 (guess it just wasn't long enough, no 32 player co-op or something?) so wait to hear about MP.
A game can have nothing wrong with it and you just know your not going to play it forever so it looses out a little. GTA for instance, plenty of glitches but that doesn't stop you from playing it longer than a "better made game".
Naiomi's death was one of the funniest deaths ever, 5 min. to die from cancer!? Anyway I hated her and didn't care much for Otocon either. If Meryl would have died I would have been pissed...
"Consumer electronics stores sell refrigerators and not food", they also make a profit off of those items and sell consoles almost at cost. But anyways I really don't see the PSP Go flying off shelves anytime soon considering the poor battery life and how uncomfortable they are to play. Personaly I love the size and profile and I throw away or loose most of my old boxes for games anyway. It'd be nice not to have to hunt down those old games you missed out on as well.
California...
Why get another 360 after the fifth one died, answer, games... The same reason people bought 4 or 5 PS2s.
You know, like games did on the original xbox and PS2. Look how far we've come...
I should have to, now I'm tainted with lies...
