I don't think they should drop the core system, but if they don't already I think they should put a memory card in the box with every core system. I plan on buying my six year old brother a core system for christmas, and he doesn't need to download trailers and demos. So he wont be needing a hard drive. This is getting ridiculous. Why are the consumers being farmed through the next format like cattle? VHS lasted 30 years before we made the jump to DVD. VHS was an affordable option for everyone for over a decade, and now, less than a decade after DVD was introduced, when DVD is only just becoming an affordable option for everyone, they start with "you don't need DVD! My best advice would be to know where to draw the line, most of my Halo co-op parties back in the day resulted in warthog grenade fights of the "silent cartographer" beach. We all had a great time, but it took five parties to finish the game.
