We need a price cut, the video marketplace, HDMI 360s, movie trailers we can actually download and some acknowledgement that we have a 360 community. You'd think Microsoft would be doing everything they can to please us, seeing as the Playstation and 360 are practically equal in popularity righ...
I'm not sure how good this is. I'd rather have a US store move in than have GAME control 100% of the market, but then it's hard to tell who would screw us over the most.

It's really not his business, nor is it ours. I wouldn't pay that much to get a game a week early, but if people are willing to do it and they have the cash, it's not our place to criticise them.

We still haven't had a price drop in Europe. The only places that did have one were the US, Canada, and Australia.
I don't think worldwide sales would be affected by a price cut in just those regions.

I wish those Haze developers would shut up. I have no interest in their game and they keep droning on with all these ridiculous comparisons. They should be avoiding comparisons, because the more they compare the game to other things, the more I consider it a blatent ripoff.
If they want me to want their game, they should explain what is so special about it, not how it's better than everyone else's.
I'd say a 50% increase which allowed the 360 to surpass PS3 sales is quite helpful.

Honestly, if I were going to pick a format I would opt for HD-DVD. Not only do I trust HD-DVD more, but it would also be cheaper buying the HD-DVD add on for my 360 than it would be buying a whole player.
As it is, i'm not buying anything. Because i'm not going to gamble with my money. I will not risk having a useless piece of hardware, on either side. I'll wait for this pathetic war to work itself out, and then pick the winner.

I'm glad CAG are defending him. I'm getting a little tired of being out of the loop, and people like Speedy help keep companies on our level. I like news leaks, I hate sitting around all year wondering if and when something will happen. I was really annoyed when I heard they bought gamestation and Gameplay. GAME screwed up several of my orders and then took weeks to refund a game they never sent to me, so I changed all my orders to Gameplay, turns out they still get my money.
You know after seeing how immature it was seeing the fanboys shouting and dancing around about the PS3 sales spike, it feels sort or hypocritical for me to jump around about this.
I will say one thing though. At least now we can all accept that any price drop will shift units. And it's asinine to declare the death of a console after one month of good sales from the competition.

I doubt it was ever as high as 5 million preorders, but don't forget this is just North America. So it's probably closer to 2 million, given every other country in the world have also been preordering it.
Don't forget, Gears of War sold 1 million in about a month, Halo 3 is theoretically set to sell at least 1 million in under a minute.

Honestly, i'm not interested. I've seen all the promotional images, but I just want to see gameplay footage in real HD, the trailer was a bit fuzzy. I'm already buying the game, had it on preorder since last year around this time.
